Cuba is lovely, I went there a few years ago.

I just thought I'd check my noodles online (that ive already eaten) and they're quite high - i thought noodles were free on green?! They are the fresh ones, with the other stir fry bits and bobs in tesco. Do you all use dried noodles? Maybe they would be lower.

Anyway, today has been green:

B: blueberries, bannana and muller light yoghurt
L: AH cous cous (0.5), tomatoes and sugar snap peas. Ryvita minis (HEB) + philly light (0.5 HEA)
D: Veg stir fry (peppers, beansprouts, carrot, cabbage) with noodles (4) and soy sauce
Snacks: apple, cherries, blueberries, breakaway (5)
Other HEA is milk in teas.

So thats 9.5 syns with a HEB remaining.

Well I'm back from WI after the week from diet hell and miraculously I've lost 1lb!:j
It just shows that even if you have a bad day or two that it can be repaired (not sure how, but its been over a week since the "blip" and I have weighed almost every day as I was just bracing myself for the gain but nothing happened). I know I shouldn't weigh that often (new posters - DON'T DO THAT!) and I'll revert to just my SW WI ona Tuesday and my sneaky Saturday mid week check at home.

So that means that I just have 1lb to target now - surely that will be next week?
I have a Dime bar as a treat tonight and I had 3 biccies in work so that's over the syn target for today but I will be on the straight and narrow tomorrow again - promise!

Morning all!
I know it's Tuesday but I feel really 'Mondayish' today Lol! Didn't want to get out of bed this morning (Even though the sun was shining) and definitely didn't want to go to work, heyho, obviously I did get out of bed and go to work but I'd rather be tucked up in my bed, never mind thats life!
My legs are aching loads today, I think I overdid it yesterday, having recently invested in a pair of Reebok easytones, which I've been wearing from time to time to 'break them in' I decided to wear them virtually all day yesterday. Also a friend of mine has loaned me a mechanical 'Step machine' ( not sure what it's proper name is) and I did 3 minutes on that and, trust me. that was more than enough. So now I'm not sure if my achy legs are down to the trainers or the machine or a combination of the 2!!! Still no pain no gain!!
I don't think it's the shoes, I've worn fit flops in summer and MBTs in winter virtually every day (even my "slippers" are fitflop booties!) for 3 years and never "broke them in", just wore them without any aches at all. I lurrrrrrve them.
After some inspiration ladies(and gents) doing a beef stirfry for tea any ideas for a nice sauce rather than just soy?

thanks Shaz

Oyster sauce is I think half a syn a tablespoon, and sesame oil I think is 2 syns per tsp, both well worth adding to a stir fry as well as the soy. Yum.

You know, I'm quite enjoying this cooking healthy food thing... I'm not usually one for cooking from scratch.

I have a chicken casserole (only syns being the chicken stock - however many that may be) bubbling away in the slow cooker and I have just whizzed up some HM houmous (not quite as tasty as shop bought :() which is settling in the fridge. Think I'll treat myself to a bit of yesterdays lasagne ;)
There should be no syns in chicken stock provided someone (you?) skimmed off the fat. If it's from a stock cube or similar it is definitely free.

ooops I see everyone else has responded already, silly me for not reading to the end!

anyway while I'm here, i stayed the same this week. But I wore my lightest trousers (8 oz less than the ones I wore last week guess how I know) whereas last week, when I put half a pound on, Ididn't have time to change from work and this week's trousers are the ones I usually wear. Therefore I think I STS last week and actually put on the half pound this week. Complicated eh?
:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

thank you Slimming World!

Hi everyone, I wanted to drop in as I am going to my first SW meeting tomorrow morning. I've had my 'final supper' of egg and chips and some biscuits tonight. I'd like to keep up with chat and recipes so I hope no-one minds me dropping in.
