  • Hi folks!

I'm popping on here because I have an essay due for tomorrow and as always studying gives me serious cravings for !!!!!!!

    Today I WILL eat:

    B: fruit and yoghurt
    S: fibre bar
L: cous cous, prawns, veggies and salad
D: Salmon, new potatoes and pak choi.

Syns to be decided. If I can avoid snacking whilst doing my paper then i might treat myself to a COU M and S desert :D.

The next couple of days are going to be really tricky as I'm at my course and it's in a lovely hotel that does amazing (and not healthy at all) food. Big cooked breakies, sandwiches and wedges for lunch, gorgeous cakes in the afternoon and pub dinners :eek::eek:.

I know that the only way SW works for me is to plan, plan and plan some more. So, here's what I'm thinking:

    TUESDAY
B: omelette with mushrooms (at home so easy to do and nice and filling)
S: take a fibre bar to have whilst everyone else will have warm hm shorbread :(
L: cold savoury rice, salad and meats
S: fresh fruit (and will avoid the cakes!!!)
D: They do a fish cobb salad that is lovely. Will allow 7 syns due to some breadcrumbs and sauces. NO PUDDING!!!

    WEDNESDAY
B: eggs, beans, toast, butter (1), bacon, tomoatoes
    L: cous cous, salad, meats
D: Get wife to cook me something SW friendly!!

Thank you for all your lovely comments and support everyone

Well done on the losses everyone :T

Well I Made it back from the gymble in 1 piece, I laid claim to an exercise bike and did 10km on my own and then I decided to choose the "lose weight" function - and I did 15km on that -it was at level 4 for the most of it *Im more of a level 2 gal normally * -anyhoo I survived although I did melt all over the thing, I was like a leaky tap *very attractive* -still I burnt just over 400cal so I can live with that
Hubby is going to ring after lunch to let me know if he has managed to book the badminton court for after work *pinkies crossed* and then we need to shop AGAIN

Well I had the strangest moment last night and this morning.... now I don't know where it came from but last night as I was in bed I was adamant that today I was going to go to the gym and on my way home stop off for some ready filled baguettes/sandwiches, crisps, at least 1 pasty, 1 sausage roll and a porkpie and I was going to come home and snaffle the lot straight from the carrier bag ... I really don't know where it came from -now those that have read my diary on minimins -will know that was something I used to do and those foods are all my old "faves". Even when I got out of bed this morning I still fully intended to do it... the thing is that there was no emotion involved I wasn't stressed, unhappy or anything it was just so "matter of fact" in my head that I was simply going to do XYZ
I never was much of a binge eater like some people -where they just start and can't stop -mine were always planned(luckily not a regular occurance ) and this is the 1st time that feeling has come back to visit me . the thing is that I haven't touched any of those items since I started SW
Now then I haven't done it ... by the time I wobbled of the bike in the gym the temptation had passed -but it has helped me to remember what I have said before that as long as I have been on SW plan I always liken it to walking a tightrope -where I can see my goal, but Im always 1 little step away from the drop .... In a round about kind of a way though it has refreshed my focus as the feeling hit me, I resisted it and now hopefully if it comes again I will be even stronger
So then -here is my red carb curfew for today...
    8am
    red grapefruit
    35g semi dried apricots
    (0.5 x B)
    12
    330g jacket (1.5 x B)
    42g low fat feta (A)
    lettuce
    cucumber
    tomatoes
    onions
    celery
    peppers

    4pm
    melon
    activia (2.5)
    10 almonds
    (5)
    7pm
    marinated rump steak
    salad
    *as above*
    250ml semi (A)
So I make that 2A+Bs and 7.5 syns covered

oooohh I may have to tell mum about those flapjacks *thankyou* -My apricots didn't make it past this morning *oopsy* although I did heB and syn em....cor they were yummy...
Have a lovely afternoon all and Keep up the great work

you know how I commented that Dyno-rod soup was wonderful ....but had side effects - ie gas?

Well today I saw a Dyno-rod van - which helpfully informed me that Dynorod is now part of the british Gas group!

    How appropriate!

have just waved DD2 off to her last AS level exam - fingers, toes and everything crossed!

Well done on avoiding the pastry etc MrsM:T

Do you think maybe it was a subconcious way of treating your self for such a huge weightloss? I know a lot of us think 'I've done well this week so I can have a little treat' :naughty:

Might just be me overanalysing everything :rotfl:

:hello: I'm in a much better mood today but thank you blackberry-rum, cycling yorkie and findingmyownway for your wise words. I think I'm getting frustrated as I've been hovering a few pounds from target fo what seems like months. Back on track today.

    EE:
B: NAS squash, HEB Puffed Whest, HEA milk, raspberries
L: HM lentil and veg soup, apple and cottage cheese
D: huge stir fry with beef and Golden Rice

I had 2 slices of toast (WW WHolemeal HEB) and boy am I paying for it today! My poor tummy is not at all happy!

Can I ask if any WW bread can be used as a HEB? I always buy the Brown Danish as that's what's in my book but often the others are on offer but I've avoided them.

    Thanks Rockie...
It was really strange as I didn't find myself thinking "ooh I fancy/deserve a treat" or "oooh I could just eat XYZ" it was so matter of fact -just like , ooh I must put the washing out when I get home -only mine was "Im going to fill a carrier bag with junk and snaffle it" :rotfl:
When I started SW I decided that I wasn't going to use food as a reward/treat or pick me up and so far I haven't, and all those things that used to be my guilty pleasures haven't been so much as sniffed since I started -so truth be told I can't actually remember what they taste like :p -

The only thing I can link it to *guess who has been sat pondering* is that yesterday I sat looking in a photo album from when we went to kefalonia -I was a size 32 and for the 1st time I actually realised that I don't know that person anymore, not just on appearance but my whole outlook etc-so Im wondering if that was part of it -remembering how I used to be that started it .... then again I could just be a fruit loop :rotfl:

    Afternoon All,

    Having a fat day!

Not sure if i have lost this week or not - raiding the cupboards doesn't ususally bring a loss!

Does anyone have some motivation they would like to send me?

I am good during the days - but the evening fairies come out when DH has gone to bed & i have no fairy spray left!
