It does come with a weather warning - it's a bit windy! Kids were threatening to banish me outside!
Well done MrsM! - 10 stone is INCREDIBLE!!!:j:beer::jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Is it worth sigining up to the website do you think? I really don't want to go to the classes so was going to go it alone but with you lot, if that makes sense?
:rotfl: The only thing putting me off ATM is the £60 cost for 3 months  I can't afford that right this minute but maybe in a week or so if its really worth it
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Sorry, but haven't had time to catch up wth all posts as I've been away for the weekend. I'm feeling very fat and bloated but I'm sure it will pass as I jump back on the wagon as of tonight.
My gripe is that while I can see that SW is a healthy eating plan it does disappoint me that it seems so finely balanced that just a small deviation into 'normal life' can cause a weight gain. All I've done yesterday and today (over allowed syns) is eat a sandwich with focaccia rather than SW bread, some oil in a marinade, a few crisps (about 6), a tiny canape size meat pie, and an extra wholemeal roll with spread on it and I feel FAT!!! Now I know the official line is count it as a flexi and get back on the wagon (and that's what I'll do) but it's so disheartening that just eating slightly off plan makes me feel so bad cos I've wasted a week!
Sorry for rant. I'm sure I'll feel better tomorrow.
Well done everyone who's losing!:T0 -
come on - one day at a time - it's what flexible sins are for!
I'm sure you'll be fine - if I were lucky enough to have had your weekend ( AS revision help was what I spent my time doing!;);)) I would recognise that I had really enjoyed my weekend....and move on!
Then I would try and include as many super speed foods as I could for the next few days......
Everyone has time off plan - my sister - a group member somewhere near Oxford has been away at the TT races for the last week .... but as she says as long as the trend is down then the odd gain is acceptable! And this is the woman who has lost nearly 4 stone!
Good luck!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Personally I think the website is rubbish, hard to find ones way around it (possibly because I dislike it therefore hardly use it!) and class is much better and possibly cheaper, plus the scales at class are calibrated whereas home scales can vary minute by minute. I know some people on here do do it online though so their opinion will be worth more than mine.
Maman, I do agree .... the way I see it people used to eat more healthily and were less obese (unless rich!) because they also did more manual work and walking/cycling as a necessity not for fun, and also chocolate, cakes, alcohol were for special occasions like birthdays, christmas, not an everyday right, and the over-indulgence would be worn off by the time the next celebration came round. A lot of it is in our minds though isn't it, guilt because we know we've been a bit naughty :rotfl: I'm sure one day won't make too much difference (hope not as I am a bit lax myself sometimes) and anyway we know it'll come off again! (also I have a lunch out today and planning an Ikea visit later so temptation will looooooom!)
Right I am off to do a Very Old Lady Thing - chiropodist! It's my first visit so wish me luck!
Good luck to all WI today.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

that's right campers - I lost 3lbs this week!!
It wasn't even that hard and I managed to recover from my Boots Shapers lunch - all those syns, hideous!!
Anyway I've not been on here much - been job hunting still so it's all a bit dull and grey here at the moment (much like the weather). And I've been trying to keep the kitten monsters from escaping out of the 'kitten room' - nigh on impossible!!
They've learned to jump!
Not too sure what I'm going to be doing today - probably another mix2match - those work well for me.
And I've developed the most amazing lust for the chocolate and chocolate fudge Alpen bars - SERIOUSLY YUM!
Hope you all have a fabulous day
*hugs*"you say tomato...I say Bite Me" :A

Morning all,
I'm having a bit of a flexi syn day. I've got my GCSE Maths exam later (at the grand old age of 28!) and will probably need a chocolatey treat (and a big packet of crisps, and a whole cream cake, and a kebab depending on how badly it goes!) when I'm done as the revision has been going really badly!! I'm probably putting myself under far too much pressure with it too, but it's the only thing that's stopping me from getting on a teacher training course.Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.:p
