Morning all! Well done to the losers!

Yesterday ended up being quite a good day foodwise in the end. I did have the M&S Count on Us Caffe Latte dessert - 6 syns in the end but not worth it - a bit like eating coffee flavoured fresh air - very light mousse with no substance.:(

Today is a stay at home day doing the cleaning and some school work so food should be easier to plan....
Breakfast - Hifi bar (B choice)
Lunch - Leftover pasta bake from last night (includes lots of veggies and was quite nice and free), raspberries
Tea - quorn sausages, runner beans and new potatoes

Extras - satsuma, grapes, reduced fat houmous (B choice) and 3 breadsticks (3 syns), M&S chocolate mousee (4 syns)

    So that's 2 B choices, no A's yet and 7 syns

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Hi all,

my fourth weigh in since starting SW EE and I have lost another 1.5 lbs. So that's 8.5lbs so far :D Loving EE so far with all the free foods.

Off out for a carvery tonight so bit worried about that.

    The plan for today:

b: 2 wbx with slice nana, couple of strawbs and blueberries
    s: maybe more fruit
l: jacket (maybe with beans) and salad
s: yoghurt maybe (though it's usually a crumpet and jam)
    d: carvery
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
  • b = weetabix and half a grapefruit
    s = bananas and cherries
l = cous cous with prawns and salad, orange
s = laughing cow and cracker bread
d = roast pork, roast spuds, cabbage, carrots and kale, sugar free jelly and fromage frais

lets just hope that today is going to be so windy!!! gym for the first time ever, feeling a tad nervous

that should be not so windy, at this rate the governments going to mount me on a pole near the wind turbines in cornwall :rotfl:

I think Dizzy's tank must have hit a pothole as I fell out the window and off the tank big time yesterday [well felt big time to me] :(

My sugar levels dropped through the floor and I had the shakes so bad. My sister went out and got food, came back with cheese on white bread , quavers [not too bad] and mini snowballs [had quite a few ]. Then we went to MrS cos 25% off clothes and they didn't have ANYTHING I wanted or not in my size  so bought a twirl instead :o. Had 4 slices cheese on toast for tea [was 50/50 bread and shared some with hubby].
I felt such a failure yesterday & today is my normal day off so its not gonna get any better, haven't weighed in yet either so must go do that.
    Fresh start tomorrow :D
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

So, today was supposed to be day one and I should be off to Tesco to buy food I can eat. I'm finding it difficult without having joined yet though (joining on Thursday) because I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing really... I do have an old SW book which tells me some things I can eat but I just don't know how to make a meal out of them... oh geez, falling at the first hurdle. Just as well I don't tend to eat breakfast or I'd have failed already ;)

Well I went out for a meal last night and had

Leek and asparagus soup to start with a white roll
Sea bass, newpots, cabbage, carrots & peas - but the pots and veg had butter on them
    Half a piece of cheesecake

I really don't expect a loss next week - I'll be lucky to STS - HT has not been good for me!

Hi Drea, the only thing I can suggest is you fly through all the pages of the thread and read peoples menu's, we all put syn values, HEA, HEB's next to our foods etc, so should be quite easy to get a few days worth of meals that you like to take you to Thursday till you can plan your own. Also have a read of the first page, that explains EE plan really well.
Also, I never used to eat breakfasts either, but was advised from these lovely people that its best to eat breakfasts, even if its just a piece of fruit :)

Thanks, I'm not sure why I didn't think of checking out the recipes on here :rotfl:

At least that'll keep me on track even if I don't quite understand it yet ;)

I will be trying to eat breakfast once I get started properly. I won't be able to eat much (I tend to feel a bit ill eating in the morning for some reason) but something really light should be okay :)

The worst part for me is giving up beer!

I didn't think I would ever understand it lol I stuck to EE for the first few weeks and once I got my head around that, I started reading other peoples red and green days until I sussed that out.

I used to drink every night and didn't think I could give it up, I am so used to not drinking now that last night I had all my syns to use up so thought I would have a few drinks watching Britains got talent, and one lasted me all night  I used to have about 8 a night (bit of an alcy lol) don't miss it at all now. I go the pub once a week and save up a few syns each day so I have enough to get drunk lol and stay alcohol free for rest of the week.

I'm the same of a morning, I only wish my non appetite would remain like that all day :rotfl:
