Morning!
I sts this week, but am not surprised as I'm having number 2 problems... as in I need some dynorod soup. I'm sure it'll come off when my insides get working, which I hope will be soon. I'm going into a danger week as I'm off to Singapore for a conference tomorrow and am not sure how sw friendly the food will be, but I'll try and make good choices and keep my fingers crossed.
Today I have my dad and stepmum arriving to look after ds while I'm away so this evening may well be a meal out. I'll offer to drive so I can't drink, and suggest somewhere healthy!
So I'm aiming for green...:
oats, berries and an activia (0.5 syns, only had the peach one left, and a
JP, cottage cheese and salad
Dinner .... who knows, but I've got 14.5 syns, 1B and 2As left so will go for something salady.
Have a happy day everyone!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -

DOes anyone watch britains got talent? I am looking forward to the final tonight, I am backing Les Gibson being a scouser and all0 -
Hi,
Had a minor crisis when OH decided we should go out for lunch in hos attempt to spend more time together but actually managed quite well.
The pub we went to had a stuffed pepper with couscous and new potatoes. There was very little oil (if any) and so I'm counting it as syn free!
So far food has been....
Breakfast - Hifi bar (B choice), satsuma and half a mullerlight
Lunch - yellow pepper stuffed with what looked suspiciously like AH couscous, new potatoes and salad (no dressing)
Snack - raspberries
Tea will be a modified pasta bake from the Sainsbugs website and will include pasta, cherry tomatoes, chopped toms, onion, pesto (probably 3 syns worth but will measure it out when I make it) and cheese on top (A choice).
I bought a couple of count on you desserts from M&S this morning
chocolate mousse - 4 syns
caffe latte - 8 syns
OH bought a massive tub of creamy custard and 2 chocolate sponge puddings - will stick to the mousse!
Hope everyone is having a good day?0 -
Well done SusieBear - we're both very close to target but the last push seems the hardest (for me at least!) Good luck.0

Just a quickie, will be back later with the food for the day...
Now that a wholemeal pitta is a HEB does anyone find that they bloat you less than normal wholemeal bread?
I always feel huge with a big buddha belly after eating bread but do fancy the idea of a stuffed pitta.
Any experiences would be appreciated before I scoff!
Thanks xx
yup, try the pitta. I believe it's yeast that disagrees with me, I've never liked bread as a child and rarely ate it as an adult but on the rare occasion I eat some I get horribly bloated and pain. Whereas the wm pitta, I could happily eat one a day and no problems I love 'em (keep them in freezer, take one out and give it +/- one min in microwave until it "opens up", cut in half acrossways and stuff each half with salad, yummy:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

I got burned on my feet though I'd put suntan lotion on (mind, it's about four years old!) tbh I thought my bloomin' athletes foot had come back, my feet were itching all over .... having had a shower and a good look at them I see it's just sunburn silly me. Congrats on hitting the next stone doesn't it feel fab!?!!?
I treated myself, as I do every 2 or 3 weeks, to a meal at the fish market where a stall does fabulous seafood meals (mostly shellfish and smoked fish, nothing battered!) and wine. There is some oily vinegary dressing on the salad but as I eat all the salad and all the lovely superspeed shellfish, I count it as a more or less free and healthy meal and there's tons of it. Yummmmmm why are most of my friends vegetarians and the two that aren't reckon they don't like fish? Weird.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
