    What a bummer. (Sorry)

Hope everyone's having a nice sunny day. I've been working all morning, not the idea lway to spend my leave, but I'd rather so it now than stress about it.

So, green planned for me again today:

    Oats, banana and yog (B)
salad, new pots, maybe an egg or a quorn sausage
dinner will be SW chips, quorn burger and mushy peas :j:j
and fruit and yogs for snacks.

    Have a happy day all!

    Afternoon all,

What is this about washing veg etc.? (i don't watch the news or read the paper!)

I never wash mine (apart from if there is a mouldy cherry - i wash the rest so i can't taste the mould! - like i had to do this morning!)

But saying that i eat yogurts 10 days out of date  & haven't died yet! :D

DH is currently eating cupcakes that are 5 months past their BBE! :o

Today is green day - again!

    B - ff yog & strawberries
    L - Baked bean lasagne
D - Not sure - might have nice cheese omelette (hea) with SW wedges & beans!
S - 5 Scan Bran (heb) with lemon quark (2) as quark is about a week out of date!, Fibre plus bar (heb), milk in coffee (hea), lots of yogurts in fridge need eating, cherries, banana

With regards to eggs - i eat loads - but as i eat alot of beans & scan bran - it counteracts any problems! :rotfl: I can be known to go through 2 dozen in 2 weeks! :o

Currently obsessed with pickled eggs! and the pepperdew peppers you get in the jar (not very MSE but better than eating choc!)

Shock Horror i went on my exercise machines last night! :j:j:jOnly done 25 mins, but it is better than nothing! Might even go on tonight - depending on what to have for dinner!

Anyone suggest where i can get some extra lean lamb mince from? DH wanted lamb burgers/kebabs for dinner on sat with SW wedges & veg! (specifically asked to have veg!)

Hi all. Eggs can actually help you drop body fat if you eat them for breakfast. Also recent research has shown that the cholosterol in eggs does not affect cholesterol in the blood like saturated fats do. Dr Jim Stoppani has a great video all about eggs at muscleandfitness.com/videos/mf-raw/raw-nutrition/mf-raw-nutrition-11-superfood-eggs

The only thing I wash is lettuce & celery....and thats only because you usually get bits of 'soily' stuff sometimes between the leaves, but I might just have to maybe stop being so lazy now (if I must bah:o)

nessie we were on about lean lamb mince at class last night (or rather the lack of it :() the group was all about national BBQ week and consultant was saying no supermarket stocks extra lean lamb mince (reason unknown??) so the only thing you can do is go to a butcher - pick a piece of lean meat & ask him to mince it up....then bulk out the burgers with maybe onion/carrot/veggies or a bit of minced quorn to make the meat go further - as a piece of lean lamb is hellish expensive :(

Welsh Woofer - Can you exist on a cereal bar for breakfast? I have a bowl of porridge and a banana and I'm still starving by 11.30!
    Or is that just me?

I've never been an eating in the morning person so a cereal bar is a big improvement for me!

Wasnt around yesterday as had a bit of a sulk on. WI for us and we both STS.
On the plus side we were asked if we were eating enough - me yes not so sure about hubby. Also advised to drink an extra 3 litres of water (hubby) and 2 litres (me) Bit of a  moment for me when you think I take daily diuretics, will it mean I need more tablets, will I naturally go more (doubt it) or will I just bloat and bloat till I go bang and we have a tidal wave. :rotfl::rotfl:
Am giving it a go though and will see what happens. Managed it yesterday and am just over half way through it today. We have also been walking 30 mins yesterday and 20 today. :A:A

Enough rattle, now down to the important bit -

    Today is a RED day
B- Bran flakes HEA & HEB
L - HM Roasted pepper & tomato soup. (was delicious) Ryvita with cheese (HEA & HEB) and lots of tomatoes.
D - Chicken cacciatore with mushrooms, broccoli and 3-4 small new potatoes. (never made this before so hope its nice)
Will syn the potatoes. Fruit and yogurt for snacks.
Hope everyone has the beautifully sunny weather we have here.
