Welsh Woofer - Can you exist on a cereal bar for breakfast? I have a bowl of porridge and a banana and I'm still starving by 11.30!
    Or is that just me?

Well done to all the losers :T WI last night for me, and I put on half a pound. I'm surprised it wasn't more after all the alcohol I consumed at the weekend. Must have been walking up that big hill that evened it out for me :D

Ended up slightly over on syns yesterday as I had velvet crunch (4), a skinny cow lolly (3.5) and a kitkat (5.5).

Going to the local mexican/american restaurant for lunch with work and have no idea what to have. I love the ribs but they are covered in sauce and come with curly fries, coleslaw, onion rings & salad . I must resist. Will report in later on my choice :D
LBM Dec 10. Total unsecured debt £41176  Nov 12 Debt Free Thanks Mum x RIP x

  • I have been doing SW for 2 years and have lost a total of 2 1/2 stone to get to target. The weeks I had the greatest weight loss was when I stuffed myself with loads of food (all allowed food that is!!!) I often got told off (in the nicest possible way) for not eating enough!!!! I have been amazed by Mrs Mc weight loss and the amount and variety she eats - just proves you need to eat enough to loss - this is not a diet it is a healthy eating plan and it works.
Thanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.

    Morning all,
Eggs - I don't worry about the cholesterol thing, am sure I've heard its all tosh anyway and Dizzy has confirmed it. Hubby has high cholesterol so will no doubt get all the info from Drs at his next appointment. I don't eat that many 'whole' eggs but do have 6 in my quiches but I eat those over a week while at work.

I WILL be super good today untill bowling tonight, will stick to superfree/free til then and hopefully no syns, NO, I WILL NOT HAVE SYNS, there I've said it so it will be done :D
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

10 for half the pizza??? It's tiny!!!! Thanks for checking for me, I'm glad I asked before I bought it, I'll stick to a stir fry I think, and leave some syns for a curly whirly!

Wow! That does seem like a lot of syns but I have to say, I've had one of those Pizzas before and it's blimming gorgeous!! The cheese is very 'goaty' and I luuuuurve goats cheese (and sheep's cheese too!)

... Ohhhhh by the way.....I've lowered the tone already so I may as well finish !! smiley-laughing007.gif

would you soddin believe it......The long awaited Poo arrived last night about 11pm smiley-toilet07.gif about 3 hours too late to make a difference for WI :rotfl:I thinks thats what they call 'sods law' ;)

That always happens to me too, even when I'm going through a phase of being fairly regular you can always guarantee I get problems on a wednesday until I get home from WI!!!

I'm so glad it's Friday, I'm ready for a lie in tomorrow after 12 days of getting up at 6am!! We're going to a BBQ tomorrow which I'm looking forward to.

    Today will be green:

Brekkie - Porridge (HEA&B), banana, orange & grapefruit
Lunch - pea and ham soup (2), WM pitta (6), melon, grapes
Tea - spag bol (HEB), might have a little bit of cheese (HEA2), salad. Strawbs and rasps for pud wtith yogurt, might have a meringue nest too (? syns, will check!)

I also dislike blueberries but I have 2 bushes in the garden in the hope I'll like homegrown ones better. I don't mind them cooked in muffins though!!!

    Good morning all
    :jon the losses again :j

Well Im sulking as I can't play badminton today as the gym is in use *pahh* I want to play and they are in my way -*how wude* -hubby says we will get a game in one evening next week -but I don't "do" patient very well :o ..hey ho.... we are going for a walk around the golf course at 7am tomorrow -so at least its something to burn a bit more wobble I guess..

ooohh and I forgot to say that my lovely mum lost another 1lb yesterday -so thats 17lbs in 17 weeks :T -she is so happy bless her -especially as she can't exercise and people keep bringing her CR*P to eat  -last weekend it was a bounty ice-cream bar, a magnum, AND a thorntons toffee ice-cream bar on a stick :wall: now they don't know she is doing SW but they do know that she has bl**dy high cholesterol and shouldn't have that stuff -and they know how hard it is for her to resist  -Well she has now taken to putting anything like that in the bin when they leave.

Anyhoo here is my red carb curfew for today:-
    8am
    189g stewed apple (B)
    28g oats (B)
    1tsp wheat germ (0.5)
    100g low fat natural yogurt
    pinch ground ginger

    12
    marinated pork steak
    carrots
    cabbage
    cauli

    4pm
    fresh pineapple
    melon
    12 almonds
    (6)
    7pm
    Prawns
    avocado (7)
    42g low fat feta (A)
    lettuce
    tomatoes
    celery
    peppers
    radish
    cucumber + onions in balsamic

    250ml semi (A)
So I make that 2A+Bs and 13.5 syns of yummy, scrummy tastiness
I think I might make a crustless quiche later -that will make quite a few brekkies plus a quick lunch for hubby tomorrow
Nothing much else planned here for today -so I might get next weeks food plan sorted..
Off to catch up...have a great day everyone!!

  • Morning all,

68 minutes on the wii fit this morning followed by a bacon buttie:rotfl:

Going into work later to catch up on everything I haven't managed to get done this week. I've really got a love hate relationship with half term! Maths exam on Monday and I haven't done my usual trick of revising with a big bag of sweets and a multi pack of chocolate so things are most certainly looking up:T

B: grilled bacon with fat removed & HEB WM bread
    S: Peach and grapes
L: Turkey, HEB WM bread, carrot sticks
    S: Banana, apple and mullerlight
D: chicken, cheese (HEA) and bacon with 1/2 small jacket spud (not sure how many syns til I weigh it!)

Quick question - does anyone know how many syns are in a packet of skips or wotsits? I remember eating them the last time I was on SW but can't remember, I think they're around 5 syns per packet but am probably wrong! :o
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.:p

    morning,

not a good start for me today, my ibs is in full swing so i needed something stodgy rather than the usual yogurt and fruit.

b - wholemeal bagel with butter from bagel factory (no idea on the syns but it was medicinal honest)
l - chicken pieces with sweet chilli sauce (? 3 or 4), melon, yogurt
d - baked sweet potato with bbq beans with broccoli

snacks - satsumas, pagens (heb) with laughing cow (hea)

shame i cant use the wholemeal bagel as heb!
