Just checking in very late with today's menu. It's a good discipline for me as it helps seeing it written down. Any comments are welcome, it's as good as having a consultant going through your food diary.

B: NAS squash, bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, HEB toast, HEA milk with teas (OH kindly cooked me all this an hour before WI:rotfl:)
L: HM lentil and veg soup, 2 Pagens, apple & cottage cheese
D: HM bolognese with spaghetti, raspberries and yogurt

    Snacks: cherries

P.S. I'm not a huge fan of blueberries either especially since I found out they're one of the berries that aren't SS (I think...)

    'night all.

A funsize mars is 4 syns and a snack size is 8:eek:

1 is a heb, no weighing needed
Susie 1 asda wholemeal pitta bread is a HEB (it always takes me ages to find the Healthy Extra page now they've changed the website, is it just me?)
and it took me so long h007 beat me to it! :)

Thank you for the info guys.

I remember what I was going to say before, does anyone worry about the amount of eggs they eat? I love eggs but I try to stick to less than 5ish a week, most weeks I don't have that many but "cholestrol" is always on the back of my mind, how does everyone else feel about munching eggs???

    ps I don't mean chocolate ones :D

I think that cholestrol thing was disproven in the end but too many can cause other problems (dizzy's the expert but I believe dynorod soup is the only answer).

MRS M - I may be asking the wrong person but do you think the Zumba for the Wii is worth buying for someone with a little bit of rhythm? I share your view of Davina, when I see her on that million pound drop thing I would like to push her down the hole with the money. x

I got Zumba on the wii- and now know that i have no rhythm at all!!! I didn't think i was that bad.

I've done it about 3 times now & am starting to pick up the steps a bit, but mostly i jump about waving my arms in the air & laughing a lot.

    I am enjoying it & it's a good work out - as long a nobody's watching.:j

I really enjoyed the Zumba game. It definately gets you out of breath, and even though i like to think I have some rhythm, I thought I looked like a numpty. Felt really good afterwards though! I definately had a good laugh :rotfl:
    hi everyone!
WI last night 1.5lb off!! whoo. I am only 0.5lb off being lighter than i have ben in 10 years!!!

Question for you all... Wii fit board or wii fit plus board?

I am buying the children a wii to see us through some of the summer holidays and thought a wii would encompass videa games, which they love as well as some physical activity. I want a wii fit for me but i have been looking at the various boards ie the fit and the fit plus. Does anyone use either and what are the main advantages of the plus (i have looked online but want actual user experiences)

Being a MSE'er i have found a bundle with the wii fit board included is about £65 cheaper than with the plus board..so is it worth £65 extra?

Looking at whats available i would only really be looking at the zumba and simular 'games' and the main pourose of the console is for the kids. My main concern is with 4 children 12, 4, 2 and 3months i wont actually get an awful lot of time to use it (maybe twice a week?).

The balance board is the same in both, its just the Game disk which is different! The first game that game out is just Wii Fit, and the second one is the Plus. The plus has slightly more games, but the difference isn't massive. You are just paying extra for a more modern/recent game. So id just go with whatever is cheapest.

I got mine pre-owned for £30! (Granger Games) and it came with the original wii fit game. the new game on its own costs about £20, which im not willing to pay right now!

Yesterday was okish, finished the day on 16 syns - a lot for me but I've been under 10 the rest of the week and I was hungry last night due to having just potatoes and veggies for tea 'cos we had nothing 'instant' in and I couldn't be ars*d to make anything :o

Today might be a struggle, need to go food shopping and I'm stuck in work until 6  Then I might have fun getting home coz Take That are playing at Eastlands and I have to go past there to get home  so it will be a late tea :(

S: Banana, yoghurt if I can nip out to the shop!
L: Either jacket and beans or salad from the salad bar if it looks ok
S: I have fruit, an oaty bar and options in my bag in case I get a break (I'm invigilating an exam all afternoon :()
    D: No idea as yet!!!

And yes, I will have a glass of wine tonight!!!!!:rotfl:

Yup tis true.....the latest medical blarb is that eggs are good for you & have no effect on cholesterol levels whatsoever I've been on cholesterol meds for a quite a while & was given a do's & don'ts from the doc.

The only prob I find with eggs is that I get a bit ahem 'egg bound' IYKWIM :o (I'm not going to get graphic talking about poo at breakfast) - OOOPS:eek: I just did :rotfl::D but then again my meds have a lot to do with that *sigh* but as maman pointed out good old Dynorod usually does the trick ;)

Well amazingly I have weighed again this morning (normal weighing time for me at home) and am around the same weight as I was before the binge - quite pleased but not complacent - perhaps mars bars take time to settle?!

I'm off to Mr T's later armed with a list full of superfrees and speed foods - it does help with eating salad and fruit when the weather is warm doesn't it? I just don't fancy a big warm plate of something.

    So today's food is ...
Breakfast - Hifi bar (B choice)
Lunch - mixed fruit salad using up the bits in the fridge (kiwis, orange, grapes, banana, strawberries), mullerlight
Tea - quorn fillet in bbq marinade (1 syn), boiled egg, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, beetroot, pickled cabbage, cheese (A choice), couple of new potatoes

Compared to recent food this is positively saintly!
I have about 5 syns left over for something later (trying to stick to 6 a day for the next few days to limit the damage).

Hope everyone has a good skinny day.
