    Afternoon all,

    Welcome Jack and Gailey

Anyone else desparately trying to ignore the Domino's 2for1 offer at the right side of the screen when posting?? :rotfl:

    On a green day today

    B - 0.5 pain au chocolat (5)
L - left over pasta bake (bit of cheese HEA)
T - new potatoes, Basa fillets in butter and lemongrass (HEB +3) and salad
    S - satsuma, crisps (4), pringles :o (5) milk in teas (HEA)

I haven't had another HEB but after the half croissant i don't think i'll bother...So not too good a day already, but i'm working late so i have no time at home later to do anymore damage (fingers crossed!!)
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

  • Afternoon all,

Shala-moo I hadn't even noticed the ad until you mentioned it... now I want pizza:rotfl:

I had a bad start to the day - my mum presented me with left over lime cheesecake that she'd baked earlier in the week. My willpower isn't good enough to resist that:o

So will need to do some extra time on the wii fit to make up for it. On a more positive note - SW and 30 mins per day on the wii fit plus has left me 5.5lbs lighter since Saturday :T just got to hope the cheesecake slip up doesn't have too much of a damaging effect. I will be thinner for my holiday!!
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.:p

Back on the Slimming World wagon...

Only thing on syns online is caramelised onion and feta which is 10.5 on all per 108g serving which is half the pizza. Otherwise would need the details off the pack

    Hello all! I'm back!

I have had a disasterous last few days since going to Wales to see my mum after a major falling out with the OH. I really reverted back to eating for the sake of it, eating rubbish and spiting myself.:(

Some of the bad things I've scoffed...
    • a bakewell tart from coffee shop
    • an apple turnover
    • chocolate brazils
    • half a portion of egg fried rice and chips
    • a goats cheese pizza from pizza express
    • 2 bags of normal crisps
    • a mars bar
BUT I have given myself a proper talking to on the 4 hour car journey home and refuse to mess things up any more - the wallowing has officially finished!

On the positive side both mum and dad raved on about how much weight I've lost (only 20lbs but a big difference on me), we bumped into someone in Cardiff that I haven't seen for years and the first thing they said was "oooh, you've lost weight, you look lovely!" and I bought a size 10 dress that fits perfectly:j:j:j

So when I got home I jumped on the scales and I'm still only 2.5-3lbs away from target (didn't go to WI this week due to being away).
I'm determined to make that less than 2 lbs from target by WI next Tuesday to repair the damage.

I'm off school for half term and so have no excuse of not having time to plan or shop - the new attitude starts here again! Haven't seen OH yet (he's at work) so will try to rise above all irritations and not let myself spoil my efforts to get to target.

Food for today so far has been...
    • alpen light bar (0.5 B choice)
    • mars bar (in the car whilst trying to convince myself I'm getting back on track) (14 syns:eek:)
    • WW small bag of cookies (5 syns:eek:)
    Complete rubbish!

So for the rest of the day its free food - mostly F&V to try to scare off the scurvy!

    Will have...
    Raspberries, strawberries, orange, banana,
    quorn sausage, beans, frozen mullerlight.

Right I'm off to plan a food list and shopping list.

PS Sorry for the bad food list and the rant - writing it down is like a confession for me - now its time to move on. xxxx

is it not roughly 1syn per 20calories?

so workout pizza calories by half or a quarterthen divide by 20to wokrkout syns,

must stop thinking about pizza, I make lush hm pizzas.

I have a lasgange for 2 as was on dine menu.
but think will blow my diet.
wondering if I can just have small quarter with salad and no oil or garlic bread as think would come entirly from my syns option and sald be super free.

Gotsome birdseye frozen basa with chilli and lemongrass thinking thats probably quite good with beg or salad.

tonight thinking of doing baked salmon in frylite oil with chillis and spring onions and serving with baby potatoes and peas.

had 3boiled eggs for late lunch-free
one slice whomeal toast-1 of my healthy options b.

still not sure about the special k earlier as its thats not b and thats a syn,

im on 8syns today as had 2coffees and cereal.

10 for half the pizza??? It's tiny!!!! Thanks for checking for me, I'm glad I asked before I bought it, I'll stick to a stir fry I think, and leave some syns for a curly whirly!

So was yesterday bad on extra easy dayto have meal with no superfoods?
cooked the beg thinking they were super free then realised potatoes/peas/swetcorn actually on free list!
does it affect weightloss if you just have free veg and not super?

what about brown bread or granary is that good?
ordered whomeal granary and 1 malted brown.

    would exercise mean more syns?

It does effect weight loss, basically the more superfrees you eat the quicker loss..but as its your 1st week i am sure you will see a loss anyway. Last week i didnt get lots of superfrees in and lost 1.5lb where as the before i really tried and had 1/2 superfree and lost 4lb!

exercise will help loss but doesnt equal more syns, afaik?
  • had to take one of mine to a party at a soft play area and ended up having a mocha, paying for it now as head is killing me! i was starving so ordered a salad and left the dressing in the tub!! now trying some lemon green tea to see if that will curb my tea addiction, nope, just took a sip and it's foul. need to get some raspberry i think
