Morning everyone and Welcome Jack_D, there are loads of lovely people here who are always around to give suggestions and support.
I am in sort of a similar situation as in I am lurking around the house all day as I don't work at the moment and it can get very dull which for me then sends me off to the fridge or shops for naughty treats. I have started to make myself get out in the morning with my ipod on and go for a walk. It gets me out the house and burns off some of that pesky lard I carry on my backside. Is there anywhere nice close by you can have a wander around? It is very difficult to find a new routine that suits you. I worked up until a few months ago when we moved and I feel a bit lost...plus I have no friends and I can't even work at the moment so searching for a job isn't even something I can do.
Last night I didn't have my planned dinner of Tagine we have Buffalo Chicken but I didn't cook it very well as the chicken was dry
I am not sure about todays food as I feel a bit lost as to what to do, it may look something like this...
EE
B - 2 toast (B) HB Egg and mayo (2) (already had this)
L - SW Carbonara and salad (3)
D - ???????
Snx - Mixed berries (F) Yog (2) and I think I will make a rice salad to keep in the fridge to munch on in emergencies (F)
Right MUST go for a walk today... I didn't do Taebo yesterday I was being a lazy ar5e. Hope you can all do much better than me today my lovelies.

Morning All
Well yesterday started off well foodwise then I took DD and her friend to the pics. I'd got them a big bag of popcorn between them - took it with me, didn't buy it there - for them to share. I gave them the bag and said I didn't want any - so far so good! They then gave me half the bag back as they'd had enough - they had had ice cream as well - I just love Butterkist toffee popcorn so I was now sitting with an open bag in front of me - well what's a gal to do? Well this one ate it! The day didn't really get any better either.
Oh well, today's another day.
Have a good day all

Good morning everyone
After doing so well for 11 weeks I needed chocolate so not surprised that I had not lost anything this week. Even though the chocolate didn't amount to my max number of sins i know that chocolate just isn't good for my hipsStill looking forward to another week.
Good luck to all those who are working towards the same goal and well done to all losers.0 -
Good morning!
I'm feeling bit slow this morning, had rubbish night's sleep and have got an annoying hayfever nose this morning. And million things to do.
Green for me tody:
B: oats, banana, yogurt (B)
L:Huge fruit salad with toast (B) and maybe an oz of parmesan type cheese on the top (A)
D:Stir fry with quorn chicken style chunks
And there are loads of snacks in the fridge... yogs, fruit, carrots etc.
Enjoy the sunshine everyone!!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -
Can I ask a question MrsM ??
You seem to love those yogurts you eat, may I ask why you're planning to give them up and only have natural from now on? They clearly haven't done you any harm so far!!
Just curious - tell me to mind my own business if you like!!

hi everyone!
WI last night 1.5lb off!! whoo. I am only 0.5lb off being lighter than i have ben in 10 years!!!
Question for you all... Wii fit board or wii fit plus board?
I am buying the children a wii to see us through some of the summer holidays and thought a wii would encompass videa games, which they love as well as some physical activity. I want a wii fit for me but i have been looking at the various boards ie the fit and the fit plus. Does anyone use either and what are the main advantages of the plus (i have looked online but want actual user experiences)
Being a MSE'er i have found a bundle with the wii fit board included is about £65 cheaper than with the plus board..so is it worth £65 extra?
Looking at whats available i would only really be looking at the zumba and simular 'games' and the main pourose of the console is for the kids. My main concern is with 4 children 12, 4, 2 and 3months i wont actually get an awful lot of time to use it (maybe twice a week?).
Anyway EE today
B pear, apple, muller
L salad, ham, jacket potato, lf coleslaw (2syns)
D hm burger, wholemeal bun (HE) fruit salad
Snacks - milk (HE) tomatoes, maybe a fruit ice lolly (2 syns)
Today is a 5 syn day (i have been sticking to the 20syns 1 day 5 the next as the weight is shifting now, so I plan to continue)
Also walked for 3 miles already today. Plan 30 mins on the walker at home later when corrie is on lol
Cant get to next weeks class so i will have 11 days til my next WI - hoping for a 3lb loss (doable isnt it!) to get me to my next mini milestone
Well done loosers, welcome newcomers0 -
Morning all!
Had a good day yesterday - stuck to plan and went to the gym. I'm trying to go 3/4 times a week and doing different things to stop me getting bored (swimming one day, aerobics, normal gym, hydraulic gym...). I steer well clear of any dance-type classes because my lack of co-ordination is embarrassing, but I like the 'traditional' ones.
Today is green again:
2 WM toast (HEBx2), spread (2), marmalade (2)
HM veg lasagne with low fat cheese top (HEA), salad
Fat free yoghurt, pineapple
Chick pea dahl, rice
Choc (5.5)
The other HEA in tea
Has anyone got any nice recipes for butternut squash? I usually make soup or just roast and eat as a side.0 -
Hi guys.
after readinga ndposting other day decided slimming world the plan for me.
Joined tuesday morning clas at 9.30 was nervous but needent have worried saw someone else I knew people and consultant were lovley.
realised probably broken my plan tue as ate 2huge bowl cereals, coffee 2sugars, can of coke and biscuits before meeting.
So decided to spend tue reading my optimising book and getting my head around it all and did huge online order as no food in house .
But waitrose couldent deliver until this morning!
So yesterday woke up and was stumped what could have and what plan to follow that day.
Started the day with my usual coffee white with milk from my a milk allowance and 2sugars from my syns so 2syns per coffee!
Had a 2nd up of coffee.
2boiled eggs no soldiers as only had white bread.
went to shop had
diet coke -free
special k red berries bar as was starving 95cals estimated approx 4.5syns as low can cereal bar.
another coffee at freinds house.
got home had glass milk from my a allowance.
2slices whomeal toastwith tiny bit of butter which I think was 3syns.Im reading taht 2slices of whomeal is my b allowance?
decided looking at book I was on easy orange plan.
had 3slices lean ham as a snack.
dinner did
mashed potato-no butter just added some milk from my milk allowance
frozen green beans
frozen garden peas
frozen sweetcorn.
instead ofgravy granules decided on beef stock as is free.
added 1slice leanham to make very strange dinner.
Had huge plate full as was really hungry.
When noting down my food diary realised everything was a free food didenthave any super free veg yesterday at all just had
free foods -oneasy plan list
15.5syns
2 a and 1b-im breastfeeding so consultant said im allowed 2 of a and 2 of b whilst on easy plan.
so I poured 500ml of semi milk in jug and used throughout day.
only had 1 b I thinkwith 2slices whomeal.
Did I do ok? worried as went slightly over on syns.
dident have any superfoods.
not sure if need extra b option as felt hungry as think 2slices just counted as 1.
How do I work out how much special k red berries cereal is?
is it a b option or a syn as doesnt give that option in book says some other special k cereal instead.
think may need to up my a options to 3 as need so much calcuim a day when breastfeeding.
Also everyone keeps putting letters in there post like a new language to me guessing
ee-extra easy
b-fibre healthy choice option.
a-calcuim helathy choice option
what does L and D stand for?
Should be better today as will have lots free foods in house and not go as hungry and use as many syns,
sort of worry any plan that allows me to eats so much might not work but trying to follow to letter andputmy faith in it.

l - olive and tomato salad, muller light, blueberries
snacks - satsumas, fibre plus (heb)
not sure about dinner yet, so not sure if i am green or ee today0 -
WELCOME GAILEY Hope your shopping has arrived.
With the extra easy plan you must remember to only have one healthy A extra and one healthy B extra. Also it's a good idea to measure out your milk allowance (it varies as to which milk you use) this way you can keep a check on how much you're using cos it's so easy to go over and not realise.
Have a look at the first page of this thread and it's all set out quite simply. Also you can check on synn values and healthy extras if you go on line, you will have had a number to get into the Slimming World website and it's full of information. You can also ring your consultant at any time with any queries. She will probably ring you sometime this week anyway.
Good luck x0
