it's been a horrible few days - my mood is ridiculously low and still not having found a job doesn't help either! At least I didn't destroy it by comfort eating all the wrong stuff...but lying in bed crying the whole time and NOT eating isn't going to help either.

hm must be coming up to 'that' week...ugh!

    so today I've had:
    b - um nothing really
l - banana, 5 crackerbreads [HEB], 200ml low fat flavoured cottage cheese (3syns)
d - not sure but it might involve sweet potatoes and spinach, hmm yes I think it will

other than that - I'm just trying to catch up on sleep.

oh and before I forget - Waitrose is doing 2 for £2.50 on the alpen light bars!
I almost died and went to heaven when I tasted the choc fudge and chocolate bars - best HEB's ever!!!

oooooh its not just my hubby then,,,,

I swear in the nearly 9 years we have been married if he has eaten 2doz pieces of fruit its a push (I let him get away with it as he eats loads of veg n salad) anyhoo -apparently now we have a battle on ... I have cut down on my fruit now I don't snack -so I just buy a bag of apples for the bowl etc as I fancy them (I stil have melon, pineapple and frozen berries) -so it goes like this..
MY apples in the bowl - *hubby* munch munch munch ... next shopping trip *me* "do you want some apples?" Hubby "yes" -they sit in the bowl getting all wizzend until I roll em up the garden for the wild rabbits n squirrels that visit. Next shop *me* "do you want any apples?" *hubby* "no, the only get wasted" -so I buy enough for me... *hubby* munch munch bl**dy munch :rotfl: although now I have taken to stewed apple as a heB they don't get wasted :T

ooh and we now have the same shinanigins with nuts-in the supermarket -"do you want anykind of nuts?" -"NO", - "right I will just get enough for me then" .... later that night "ooooh can I *borrow* a few nuts?" - Like I want em back :rotfl:
Good job he is a little diamond in every other respect ;)

Confused -just about everyone I have heard of LOVEs the wii Zumba  - so I think its just me :o

    Afternoon All,

Had a naughty night last night as my bro had got paid & decided to treat me to a McFlurry (had to take him to McDonalds to had in notice! (second job)) but i didn't stop at that  i had brought some activia creamy yogs & had to try one of each flavour & i had to have choc that was sitting in the fridge & cupboard :o

But on a good note - i resisted the biscuits at the meeting that was from 9.30am till 3pm  :T even though i was starving hungry!

So today is a Green day

    B (8am) - 28g All Bran flakes (1/2 heb1) with banana & splash milk (hea1 - rest in coffee)
L (3pm) - 'Fake' chow mein (noodles, soy sauce, peppers, mushrooms, onions, quorn pieces, sweetcorn, beans) and now feel well and truely stuffed!
D (6/7pm ish) - Chickpea & veg (mushrooms, carrots, onion, celery, courgette) cottage pie with cheese (hea2)
S - 2 sesame ryvita (1/2 heb1 +1?) with 2 extra light laughing cow (2?), ff activia/muller light, fibre plus or 2 alpen light (heb2), cherries, strawberries with ff greek yog

    So 3 syns today :j

I plan not to do much tonight - will be nice to sit down & knit for a change!

MrsM - which activia creamy yogs do you rate the best?

I WILL NOT RAID THE CUPBOARD/FRIDGE!

    Hi nessie

My tastes keep changing but its very odd because I have taken to the strawberry on and I have NEVER liked anything strawb flavoured :D, ooooh the peach one is my fave out of the ones you can get in the UK, my really really really fave one is "classic" which is plain -but I don't think its available in the uk -or is it?. The vanilla one is good if you want something "custardy" :rotfl:-dollop it on top of a SF jelly with frozen berries in and its quite "triffley"
I have 3 left now (lemon ones -nice n refreshing) and then Im stopping having them and going onto natural yog..
oooohh and they have now released a caramel one  haven't tried it as it sounds *eeeeew* but let me know if you try it :D
ooooh and you do know they are 2.5syns each don't you? -although worth every one :T

And here endeth my passage on yoghurt :o:rotfl:

    Thanks MrsM

Tried the cherry & caramel ones, must say - not keen on the caramel ones - a bit artificial tasting- but it could have been because i had eaten them after a McFlurry :rotfl:- but will try again tonight & let you know :o

I was debating the lemon ones, but i make lemon quark myself which is lovely - either with lemon flavouring or with lemon curd

    Didn't see the 'classic' ones

Only brought them as on offer in A$da and because you always seem to have them! Might give me some willpower again :rotfl:
  • i really don't like yogurt, but like fromage frais, is there a free version? looking at a lot of recipies and yoghurts are used a lot, hope it tastes better hot!!
Make the most of each day, live life with no regrets:j
