Thanks Annie, I've got Rosemary Conley's Salsacise and I love it but I wanted a change so when MRS M was doing the 30 day shred I got it (I blame her really! - only joking Mrs M) I haven't tried a Davina one but I have heard they are good, give it a go and let me know. x

:rotfl: you can blame me, I don't mind :p.. I found that for the first couple of times I had a slight grinding in my right knee -but then it went away -thank gawd... I do love Jillian
I have Billy Blanks tae bo collection on its way as I fancied trying something else too ... can't have Davina -the only exercise I would get from that would be seeing how far I could hurl said DVD up the garden... that woman grates on my nerves -she reminds me of a spitting image puppet :rotfl:
I have the Wii Zumba and the chances of me ever using it again are less than remote :p -I have tried 3 times and I just want to scream with frustration :o -I will accept that I have the rhythm of a gereatric flip flop  and much prefer something with a counted repetitive rhythm if that makes sense

Good Morning all and well done on those losses again :T

Well hubby left for golf at silly o'clock -so I had a bit of a lie in -well I was up at 7:45 ....but only so I could get breakfast by 8am
My exer-beat wii game arrived last night so I have had a little play this morning, it seems ok so far -but I will report back when I have used a bit more of it.. I did end up rather warm though, so hopefully it wil help burn this wobble

Im making hubby a lasagne today -so Im making myself similar -but without the pasta ;) and then Im having a plate of steamed cabbage with it nomonomonom
So then -my red carb curfew will look like this:-
    8am
    198g stewed apple (B)
    2 plums
    2 apricots

    12
    haddock fillet
    carrots
    beans
    spinach
    71g peas
    (B)
    4pm
    melon
    pineapple
    activia (2.5)
    10 almonds
    (5)
    7pm
    extra lean minced steak
    onions
    carrots
    garlic
    celery
    peppers
    tomatoes
    quark
    egg
    28g extra strong cheddar (A)
    28g low fat feta (3)
    steamed cabbage

    250ml semi (A)
so thats 2A+Bs and 10.5 syns covered

Well I gave myself a lovely facial last night and painted my trotter nails ... why do we leave our lotions n potions in their bottles instead of using them on ourselves???? Anyway I have made a pledge that Im going to start using them as I should :p

Can't remember who asked about the cookery books- but my fave is the "world of flavours" :D although I do adjust them as I go as some of them have glaringly obvious errors in -usually the amount of liquid they recommend  -I make a mean coq au vin from that book -although made "my way" :rotfl:
I have most of their recent books but to be honest you are better of adapting normal recipes to suit SW -most of my fave recipes are "tweaked" versions of things from the GoodFoodGuide;)

Nothing much planned here for today -so I will get off -have a great day everyone...

I'm having a syn free day as I find that always works best for me before WI tomorrow. I don't feel any thinner or fatter but live in hope!:)

I feel energised after each WI to have a good week but there's always something. Just remembered that I'm staying over with a friend Sat/Sun. They always do good food but not very SW friendly and it's hard to make choices in someone else's home without giving offence. I think my last half stone is going to be very scenic indeed..... should look good by Christmas at this rate:xmassmile

I'm having Dauphinoise potatoes with fish for dinner as I needed to make some space in the freezer. DD1 turned up with stuff for me to look after while she's defrosting hers! Got some spag bol out ready for tomorrow too.

    EE Menu:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, egg, tomatoes, mushrooms, HEA milk in teas
L: salad sandwich, apple & cottage cheese
D: smoked haddock, Dauphinoise pots, mushrooms, tomatoes, green beans
    Snacks: more fruit if hungry

ok so i have a few things in the fridge that need using up and was thinking of making a pie.

chicken breast, 2 rashers bacon, 1 red pepper chopped and added to low fat condensed mushroom soup. put in a pie dish and cover the top with sliced sweet potato

sounds like a pretty strange combo to me but it might just work!
or i can be boring and make it into a pasta sauce (minus the potato)

Billie-jo could you just change this into a EE day? Rice is really high in syns on a red day and isn't a HEB.. I don't have my book to check but i know i always thought it just wasn't worth having it if i had to syn it.

*off to find book* ohh just looked 28g dry rice = 5 syns.

You've had veg/fruit with every meal - would this be 1/3rd of your daily food do you think? if not just have a bit extra and you'll be set.

thanks shala_moo did this in the end as didnt have any more ryvita or cheese later on, had another yogurt and fruit instead.

    Today is EE day -

B - Yogurt & fruit (good job this is free!!!)
L - Egg & bacon mayo with ryvita and salad. Just made the egg mayo with eggs, bacon, 2tsps mayo, 2 tsps ff yogurt, 1/2 tsp white vinegar and plenty of pepper - much beter than the one I tried last time. There is enough for 2 times at least so hardly any syns. (1)
D - Gammon & salad with either SW chips or new potatoes (depends which hubby prefers)
Milk will be EHA and EHB will be the ryvitas.

Will have to get some fruit and salad tomorrow as down to last 2 bananas, 3 oranges, 1 pineapple, 1 grapefuit, lettuce, beetroot, salad onions and just 1 pack of tomatoes  Oh and some frozen berries in freezer.
Have to go now as playing 'Cowboys & Indians' with 6 year old grandson :rotfl:
    HOWDY PARTNER YEEEHHHAAAA.

    Well done losers :T

ohh i used to love Taebo.. i have the collection on VHS tapes that how old mine are :rotfl:havent done them in a long time cos of my poorly arm but i used to get out of puff and feel really good... it's good for getting your heart pumping because there's a lot of upper body work!

Maman - do you have the recipe for your Dauphinoise please, are they SW friendly *fingers crossed*? i've bought some Basa fillets (don't do fish, but promised i'd try new things!) to try in the week so i'd love to have the potatoes with that so i can at least enjoy half the dinner :rotfl:

    Today i'm trying EE again

    B - apple, yogurt, 0.5 weetabix (2)
    L - lasagne, salad
T - Pasta bake, fruit salad afters, bit of squirty cream(3)
    S - crisps (4) satsumas, strawberries

I'm usually quite greedy with pasta bake and have 2 servings (large ones :o) so tonight i'm going to have 2 servings but one large spoonful less each time.. i'm sure i won't miss the extra.. but i will weight wise!

    have a good day y'all x

OMG that's fantastic, Well done you!!! Your legs must have felt like they were going to fall off!

I love a nice long walk but not sure I could manage that far. OH is going on a walking trail holiday in June with his mate in the Cotswolds.. but as they need to do 15 miles a day for 7 days I won't be joining them LOL

I think I will do my exercise DVD today instead of going out for a walk. It is Billy Blanks TaeBo so I will probably only managed 15 mins then collapse LOL.

    Today (EE)
    B - 2 mini toast (B) Philli light (2) Slice of ham (F) Sliced tomatoes (F)
L - HB Egg, Ham (F) Salad (F) Feta (A) Couscous (F) Balsamic vinegar for the salad (F)
    D - Moroccan chicken Tagine (2) veggie rice (F) Side salad (F)
Snx - Blueberries, strawberries, grapes (F) Yoghurt (2) Granola (4) Couscous salad (F)

Drinks - Coffee/tea with sweetener (F) lots of water (F)

We do the walks while doing Geocashing, makes it more fun & eases the pain.

MRS M - I may be asking the wrong person but do you think the Zumba for the Wii is worth buying for someone with a little bit of rhythm? I share your view of Davina, when I see her on that million pound drop thing I would like to push her down the hole with the money. x
