Ive just bought some Hersheys tiny milk chocolate bars, 13.9g each and have worked it out to be 3.5syns yay, I love Hersheys, really wanted to buy the kisses but thought they would be to hard to work out the syns etc. They did have a huge hersheys kiss, had over a thousand calories in it, so left well alone x

Hi hope everyone is doing ok?

Not had time to read the thread as been away to Bristol for the vegan festival all weekend.

I was quite annoyed with myself for having 3 days totally off plan but I only go to 2 of these weekends a year and not many places you get wall to wall vegan food.

I did have use of a kitchen in the hotel and a fridge in my room and Asda nearby so did eat lots of salads/fruit and took my weetabix and drank tons of water.

Expecting a gain this week as I ate and over ate so much:o

I was not too bad as only ate 1/3 of a slice of cake Sat - gave the rest to a friend, did the same with a slice of cheesecake Monday but did eat a cooked breakfast which was huge - the veggie cafe did grill my veg sausages and tomato and had dry toast - only item which was with oil was mushrooms. I also ate a lot of salads, grilled falafel, cous cous. Did try loads of a new soya cheese samples, oh and 2 soya ice cream milkshakes - but did order kids sized ones:o

Also had a bottle of wine, several vodkas and 1 cocktail.

I did stay in a hotel a mile away so walked about 4 miles a day to and from there.

Hopefully the results of weigh in will get me back on track. Not sure If I'll go to afternoon weigh in tomorrow or the morning one Thurs yet.

Also got a curry out tomorrow night but will just drink water and just have a vege rogan josh and rice and salad.

Sorry about my meltdown last night guys :o I'm alright, it's just that RL is a bit carp at the mo. Mum has terminal cancer and it just gets to me occaisionally, especially if I've been on the sauce :o

Back to food, and I'm having a good EE day today.

B: satsuma, alpen light (.5 HEB)
    S: samosas (1.5), apple, velvet crunch (4)
L: chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, laughing cow light triangle (part HEA), maybe a tin of sardines if I'm not full by then
S: alpen light bar (.5 HEB), muller light, satsuma
D: sw lasagne (1.5), salad, maybe sw chips too, skinny cow lolly (3.5)
Rest of HEA is milk in teas

Out at bingo tonight and drinks will definately be sprite zero.

Hey, no need at all to be sorry. I really feel for you and if you want to rant and rave then go ahead. If it makes you feel better that's all that matters. Just one thing - please be mindful of the drink! It's good for quick fixes but wont solve the problems and you need to be on top of your game to help Mum at this dreadful time. I'm really not preaching, just concerned. Huge hugs to you. xx

Sounds like DIZZY is being really strict at the moment so you girls need to behave yourselves on that wagon - don't make DIZZY angry!!!!!

Some great losses - well done to you.

For those that are struggling a bit - stick at it and it'll work.

    xx

Weighed in last night and wasn't certain what to expect - so I was gobsmacked to lose 3.5llbs!:j:j:j

Not quite certain what i did to get that loss - which makes keeping it up harder!!

    Today is EE as always......

breakfast - porridge with banana, rasps, strawbs and blueberries

    snack - pear and orange

lunch - tuna salad and ryvita, fat free activia yoghurt

    snack - apple

tea - home made salmon fishcakes, green beans, peas, carrots and cabbage, activia fat free yoghurt.

and maybe a glass of something alcoholic with the apprentice!

trixie!! PLease tell me it was you who bought the coconut powder off ebay?

Someone did, now I bought some, and dont remember what it is I do with it!

    Hi Lynz

I bought coconut essence off Ebay that I use for the Thai Green Curry. Is that what you are on about? I just use it with skimmed milk to substitute for the coconut cream/milk when making it.

What I do is, slowly (as it tends to split if it is on too high a heat) reduce the milk, coconut essence, green curry paste and a half a cube of chicken stock down a bit and then thicken it with a little flour and milk mix. This is then my Thai green curry sauce to which I add my chicken and veggie mix (or I just cook it all in with the initial milk concoction and then thicken it once it is all cooked)

I can't give you any specific measurements as I tend to cook by sight and taste. It doesn't taste exactly like the traditional curry but it is a really good, tasty substitute.

Also did lots of walking - 7 miles on Sunday.

OMG that's fantastic, Well done you!!! Your legs must have felt like they were going to fall off!

I love a nice long walk but not sure I could manage that far. OH is going on a walking trail holiday in June with his mate in the Cotswolds.. but as they need to do 15 miles a day for 7 days I won't be joining them LOL

I think I will do my exercise DVD today instead of going out for a walk. It is Billy Blanks TaeBo so I will probably only managed 15 mins then collapse LOL.

    Today (EE)
    B - 2 mini toast (B) Philli light (2) Slice of ham (F) Sliced tomatoes (F)
L - HB Egg, Ham (F) Salad (F) Feta (A) Couscous (F) Balsamic vinegar for the salad (F)
    D - Moroccan chicken Tagine (2) veggie rice (F) Side salad (F)
Snx - Blueberries, strawberries, grapes (F) Yoghurt (2) Granola (4) Couscous salad (F)

Drinks - Coffee/tea with sweetener (F) lots of water (F)

YAY it was you! Oh I have coconut powder not essense and im sure theres syns in it. In a few weeks when I get back  I'll have a stab.

Looking forward to not doing a lot of cooking from here on in. On route to parents today so had megabowl of cereal 2HEB . Should get there about lunchtime so no biggie.Just hoping they have proper food not bad food! ( Usually pasties, croissants, chips and biscuits!) Could really do with no piling it on in the next few days.

am extremely tired tho, so hopefully Ill spend the majority of the next few days asleep as I need it.

Wil hopefully check in with everyone later take care everyone xx
