    Hello!

I'm a newbie and will be going to my first SW meeting on Thursday with the OH. Not hugely overweight but certainly have seen (and felt) that I've fattened up a lot over the past year and just want to get back to a weight that I feel comfortable with. I am a bit worried that because I'm not extremely overweight I shouldn't be going to the groups... I was going to just do it online but OH wanted to go to the groups too so I've been persuaded ;)

Welshwoofer - nice to hear you and OH are getting on a bit better:D and the WM pittas don't bloat me as much as bread.

To be honest it all feels a bit false - he's trying too hard after I gave him a "shape up or ship out" warning and I'm struggling to get my head around it all. Still not happy but am trying to at least give it a chance. I suppose I have to give it some time and hope my feelings will change. We'll see how long his change of attitude lasts - not holding out much hope, but I'll get on with it for now.

Hi am I ok posting on here if I haven't joined a SW group? I kept meaning to but now sadly unable to justify spending the weekly fee! Could do with some support as been following the plan for a while and lost almost 2 stone but struggling to keep motivated and have about another 8 to go!!:o

    MM xx :D

Hi and welcome MM - you are in good company here. If you want inspiration then hang out with us tomorrow morning for a (hopefully) big celebration when Mrs Macawber will get her 10 stone shiny - don't forget the tissues.

I am SO excited to report a loss of 3.5lb this morning :j which takes me under 10 stone for the first time in ages and means I've lost 7.5lb in 3 weeks :j:D

I am very pleased with myself, particularly as this week I had to navigate BH monday at the pub, a day at a theme park and a whole day travelling for work. I guess it just shows SW can fit into 'normal life' if you want it to.

    Whats up takeiteasy?

Well done to all the other losers :D

    Morning all,

done my wi this morn and i've lost 0.5lb :j. This is the least i've weighed in around 4yrs. 10st 11lb always seemed to be a psycological sticking point for me. All the other times i've tried to loose weight i've never managed to get to 10st 11lb or less i always seemed to plateau and loose and gain the same few lb's and began to think that that was my natural weight. Only difference is i stuck at it this time i perservered through the gains and losses and the sts so i now know i can do it. I will eventually get to my target weight!

Well done to all you other loosers :D and big welcome to all the newbies

I'm going for an EE today

B - special k (5), milk (part hea) and apple
L - wm pitta (heb) tom puree (1) and cheese (rest of hea) with cherry toms, celery and cucumber
T - spag bol made with chopped toms, onions, mushrooms, peppers and will have more mixed veg to make up my 1/3 as we're out of fruit now
S - not sure yet so either a curly wurly (6) or walkers crisps(6.5)

Cant wait to see your loss this morn MrsM :D
