Annie - please dont give up even though I know how disheartening a gain can be especially if you dont remember doing anything to warant it. Next week will hopefully see it gone along with a bit extra. :)

today have been to Ald* for a change and brought loads of fruit n veg including - apples, oranges, salad onions, grapefruit, new potatoes, beetroot, pineapple, mango, celery, cabbage, broccoli also got some other bits and bobs toiletry wise. Not had mango for ages so looking forwards to that in the week.

Having a RED day today again

B - Cereal, milk and mixed berries (HEA & B)
L - Bacon, egg and tomatoes with wm roll (HEB) Sauce (1 syn)
T - Smoked cod and lots of veg with 2 small new potatoes.
Fruit for snacks although to be honest have not had ANY yet as dont feel hungry at all. (long may it last)
Will have some more syns tonight when have a cider though.

Ohh and the best bit - I managed to get into a skirt yesterday that havent had on for ages. Whats more it fastened up - ALL the way up!!!!:rotfl:

tomorrow will probably be EE -
B - will be yogurt and fruit
L - will be beef casserole with lots of veg, some mashed potatoes and cabbage.
T - not sure yet but will use the HEB (probably ryvitas) as HEA will be milk for drinks although am drinking a lot of soda water at the moment as I find it quite refreshing.

Keep at it everyone and good luck. x

Magnolia, I'm interested in the idea of 'carb creep'. Do you limit carbs on SW a bit like MrsM does? I know they're free (on EE) but I'm definitely guilty of throwing in an extra potato/bit of pasta. It never looks much raw and when it cooks I just....eat it:o

I am not relating 'carb creep' to slimming world. I was a long term low carber before I switched to SW and found success once more.

I suppose once a plateau arrives then it might be a good idea to look at portion size and to evaluate just what that portion contains but while SW is working for me I am not about to analyse it too closely ;)

Heres hoping I get to a size I am happy with before that happens :rotfl:

Totally agree about not focusing so much on carbs, as to my mind the superfree aspect makes that choice for you as SF is predominantly water. Why sweet potatoes and parnsips are not superfree for example.

There is controlling of carbs : the size of portions on red days, the restriction on white refined carbs and sugars with high syn value. Things made of white flour ( like pastry) are sky high. and the tiny slices of bread that count as a HEB.

SW is nothing like atkins and thank god for that! ( If anything its more like GI)

Anyway I have had a terrible day as have eaten 2 packs of the skips and a bowl of cereal and pagens and alpen lite. Ho Hum.

Have had to go shorts shopping today and it was not good but got one pair from asda but I need to get back on track pronto otherwise this stuff wont fit.

So mad at myself why do I do it!! I just CBa cooking today,,,, :(
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Thanks for everyone's support - it does help.
Have spoken to my mum about my marriage problems today for the first time, and surprisingly she was great. She said she could see it even though I'd never told her anything, she said my outlook had changed and that I'd lost my sparkle - bless her.
He's out watching the football and I'm having a nice quiet day with the dog who can tell I'm not myself and sticking to me like glue - I LOVE MY POOCH!

I have stuck to plan all day and had 2 walks with the dog so feeling a bit better about myself.

    Anyway, tomorrow is another day.....

    Morning!
WI for me and I gained one lb. I'm seriously unimpressed, I thought I'd done well this week and am now desperately trying not to just say stuff it, it's just not going to happen for me and I'll jsut have to get used to being fat.
Just had scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast and am now going to wallow in self pity for a while!

    NO NO NO Annie!

I was like this the other week, and as others said it will shift! The week after i lost 4lb. :T

If you have put the work in it will come off, maybe not that same week but deffo the week after! I find if i have slow losses (never gained yet) i have 1 week where i loose loads..

    chin up lovely. :T:T:T
