I can get round the drinking sometimes by being the designated driver - I'm not a huge drinker and I have vertigo which doesn't agree well with it either! But the eating part is so hard. I think it's worse cos I'm veggie so the choices are so limited unless I want to live off jacket spud beans and cheese

I have just been reading the SW website and that seems to recommend a salmon and new potato type option, but obviously thats not very helpful for you. Maybe veggie chilli / tomato based pasta would be better for you?
I find eating out the hardest part of SW. If I could stay at home on my own all the time and just eat food I'd prepared myself then I could stay 100% on plan! But what sort of a life would that be?? I think eating out should be a pleasure and scouring down a menu looking for SW friendly things often spoils it for me. I remember going to a restaurant in Leicester Square and having an omelette, salad and a jacket and thinking what's the point of going out, I could eat better at home at a fraction of the price. I compromise by saving syns in preparation and then trying to have something vaguely SW friendly. It's not brilliant but it's better than becoming a recluse!:rotfl:
EE menu for today:
B: NAS squash, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast and HEA milk in teas plus have a grapefruit cut up and ready to eat
L: HM lentil and veg soup, toast (or maybe Pagens) and strawberries with yogurtduck, Dauphinoise potatoes, broccoli, peas, carrots and onion
Snacks and Syns: maybe more fruit (if peckish) plus wine syns0 -

maman - that is so true, I tend to have pasta or chilli (like findingmyownway suggests) but often think why am I paying £5-£10 for a meal I can make for under a quid myself!
Just been to Lidl to get some veg, got the world's biggest pineapple for 99p. It's humungous!! :rotfl:

T - roast chicken dinner.. chicken, carrots, potatoes, broccoligravy (2) stuffing (4)
