Aw thank you lovlies for your kind words. It may well be syn creep (brilliant phrase!)
I've just been out and bought the new magazine so will have a read through and give myself a talking to, and I'm sure it'll be fine. Much as I hate to say this, I think I'll go choc free for a while, as I'm terrible at not being able to stop once I've started. Actually maybe I should go biscuit free to, as there was a biscuit incident earlier in the week that I thoguht I'd made up for, but clearly I haven't!
So, ds is off to his dad's later so I'm going to plan a green day syn free feast for tonight, and may even tidy up the living room so I can eat it in pleasant surroundings!
Thanks everyone xxxSay what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -

I'm back from my couple of days sulking over the Op thing:o

so Hope you all have a lovely weekend....Its a bit chilly & very windy today
- Ideal weather for a big pan of dyno Rod soup:rotfl:
I'l be back later with my menu when I've done the Asda shop (poor MrDizzy after a morning on the golf course too)

Another pound and a half gone this week.......but definitely need to start varying the food that I eat as it's getting a bit monotonous.
Well done to all losers and big hugs to those who didn't.0 -
Glad to hear normal dizzy service is resumed!!!
Muller lights are back up in price in asda folks booooooooooooooooo0 -
Sorry I wasn't around yesterday - major issues with OH unfortunately. But I'm determined not to let him spoil my weightloss as well as everything else:( so I'm back on the wagon today.
Have been to Mr T's (not fun after 1.5 hours of sleep) and have a houseful of yummy SW friendly things.
So today will be green as always...
Breakfast - Hifi bar (B choice)
Lunch - reduced fat houmous (B choice) and 3 breadsticks (3syns), quorn chicken slices (free), beetroot, red cabbage, strawberries, raspberries
Tea - mexican bake (free) with cheese (A choice) and refried beans (free)
Not sure about extras yet but will try to be controlled for a change - the new Graze box arrived this morning and looks intersting so will work out what's what synwise with that maybe.
Hope everyone has a good day.0 -
Welshwoofer- hope all is OK at home
Dizzy- so glad you are feeling better!
Im off to asda and hope they ahve some yogs as we have almost ran out. I dont mind shapes or weight watchers so as long as somethings on offer... all good! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Good afternoon all
Well done on those losses folks :T, to those with itty bitty gains -you will whip em off again in no time
Hugs to those feeling rough....
An DIZZY -you have just made me snort fizzy water down my nose *eeewww it hurts* -I was reading your post and suddenly I got the little red character pop up -hubby wondered what was going on :rotfl:.. Glad you are back on form, but its hardls surprising you in a grump my lovely... Im sure MrD will cope *throw ox burgers at him -he will be fine;)*
Gawd knows why, but I was up at 6am . Im wondering if its because I have been getting up for the gym at this time so my body is getting used to it -If so-well it can stop and learn to behave itself at weekends
Hubby had a bit of a lie in -he could do with it after being up at sill o'clock the last couple of days playing 4 rounds in total... and he is playing again tomorrow :rotfl:
Well folks here is my red carb curfew for today :-
7:30am
28g oats (B)
activia (2.5)
mixed berries
11:30
hm ox burger
lettuce
cucmber
tomaot
onions
celery
peppers
onions+cucumber in balsamic
tickled beetroot
tickled cabbage
3:30
pineapple
7pm
2 boiled eggs
avocado (6)
salad *as above*
500ml semi (2 x A)
I swapped to pineapple for my snacky as I could hear it calling to me from the fridge and it would be rude to ignore it -so I am missing 1HeB... but I will let myself off -I was supposed to have stewed apple!
Then as hubby is having his pizza -I decided I didn't really fancy steak so Im using up the 1/2 avocado from yesterday with chucky eggs nomnomnom
so I should be at 2A+1B and 8.5 syns
I have made 2 new discoveries...
1)I LOVE stewed apple -so thats an easy way to deal with heBs -
AND
2)I love yoghurt stirred into my oats with mixed berries -eaten straight away -its much nicer than if you leave it to saok all night
I have never been interested in cooked fruit much -BUT I simply sliced my apple into thick pieces and zapped in the micro -and I ate it luke warm-it kept its shape and was scrummy
I have made hubby 2 big cobs to have with bacon tomorrow -apparently he is having 1 for brekkie and taking the other with him wrapped in foil for the walk round the golf course- and I have enough dough that Im going to split in 2 and make 2 pizzas -Im making them just slightly smaller than his usual 12" I do him and "hopefully"1 will survive for him to take for lunch on Monday (although I doubt it)
oooohhh and we got 1.5hrs in at badminton -I still didn't win a game but heck I played some good shots -the closest I got was 18 points to 21 -not bad for my 4th attempt
Hubby reckons I have "found my sport" -I must admit I love it and for a big un you see me shift . Whilst we were there hubby showed me how to set up the stepper again as I figure its about time I started varying what machines I use -so Monday could be fun n games
Well its weigh in for me in the morning so that the scale are kind
Right I will at last "shut up"
Have a great evening all and keep up the great work!!!

That's what I have for breakfast quite often, and it's yumma! Mr S has run out of the vasics mixed berries at the moment though, so I've been substituting a banana which is nice too, and feels very substantial with the oats!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -
Hope I am wrong but syn/carb creep can strike at anytime and hit the best of us
Magnolia, I'm interested in the idea of 'carb creep'. Do you limit carbs on SW a bit like MrsM does? I know they're free (on EE) but I'm definitely guilty of throwing in an extra potato/bit of pasta. It never looks much raw and when it cooks I just....eat it:oAnyway I've given myself a good talking toand ...........normal Dizzy service has been resumed
Delighted to hear it! Seems lots of us have been to Asda today, me included. I got some Pagen crisprolls and as they're 3 for a HEB I figured I can mix and match with my WW bread. I'm also toying with the idea of taking a bag on holiday with me. I though if I ate them at breakfast with my eggs and fruit it would keep me away from the fabulous, fresh, white Turkish bread:drool:.WelshWoofer wrote: »Sorry I wasn't around yesterday - major issues with OH unfortunately. :grouphug: Sorry to hear you're having a rough time and had so little sleep. Hang on in there!
I've had a productive afternoon. I've made a huge pan of chicken curry (with mushrooms, peppers and spinach as well as the onion and tomatoes) plus enough Dauphinoise potatoes for two meals: one for tomorrow and one for the freezer.0 -

Me too, I love it with a banana. My fav brekkie
Well I deserve a halo - had lunch out with girls and opted for jacket spud with beans and cheese over the veggie burger and chips, and then I was meant to meet a friend for coffee but she was short on time so asked would I mind if we had our catch up whilst she did her Tesco shop. She lbought all the yummy non-SW food and I managed to resist it all. She has borrowed my SW books though to start on Monday!
Green day for me:
B - 2 x eggs fried in fryligh on HM WM bread (HEB), LF marg (1syn)
L - jacket spud, beans, cheese (HEA)
D - veggie spag bol with cheese (HEA)
Snacks - crisps (4syns), mini meranges (4syns), jelly (0.5syns), LF creme fraiche (1.5syns)
Drinks - water, soda water, squash, fruit tea
