Hi everyone! Hope you're all keeping on track. I've been so busy this past 3 weeks with my FT job and my various PT jobs that I've not had time to read, digest and reply to anything on here. It was my Birthday last week and even though I'm at target I was still trying to be good. I think I've got the hang of maintaining! It's been 6 weeks since I got to target and the most I've been over is 2lbs. Currently sitting at 0.5lbs above.

I don't even know what a potato ricer is! Interested to hear about the carrot mash though, I love that stuff and would be an easy option on a red day when I can serve OH frozen roasties or something. QUOTE]

Imagine a huge garlic press and you get the idea of a potato ricer. :)
They make the smoothest mashed potato you can imagine. Cost about £10 but you can get them cheaper if you look around.

    I done it!

I managed to have fish from the chip shop & didn't eat the batter (well part from the tiny piece that landed in my mouth & i had to sample!) :j:j:j

It was FREE after all - in both senses of the word - as were the pickled eggs that i asked for instead of chips :A

I asked for a small portion of fish - but they ended up getting everyone the same - large!

Stuffed now, will have to make room for cherries & banana later!:o

Well I looked up the syns for my shapers barbecue chicken wrap at it was 14.5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So not worth it but ate it as otherwise it meant no lunch

Will have to be extra good tonight now!!

Congrats LilMe on maintaining it's not easy but it is achievable if you don't go mad and it's nice to have the odd treat without feeling guilty.

Nessie - well done with the fish and chip shop visit don't think I could be that restrained!

    Evening everyone
What a day! I've been stressed to the max for most of it so have gone a teeny weeny bit over my syns allowance for today, and am annoyed with myself for letting it happen. But, rather than come home and say stuff it, I'm going to go for a walk and have a healthy dinner and an early night, rather than feel sorry for myself with a bottle of wine and a box of chocs!
    Green again for me today:
    Oats, yogurt and banana (B)
    apple
cheese, cucumber and crisp sandwich (A,B, 5 syns)
    satsumas and another apple
    yogurt
    2 finger kitkat (5.5 syns)
2 cupcakes (about 13 for both I reckon, one had quite a lot of icing, the other only a little bit)
    milk in tea (A)
and tonight will be stir fry with quorn chicken style pieces and noodles.

So that's 2 As, 2 Bs and 23.5 syns. Hopefully I've saved enough syns over the week for today to get balanced out, and my week starts again tomorrow (albeit with a weigh in!) so onwards and upwards we go!

    Happy weekend everyone!!!

As I understand it they (the consultants) were told at one of their meetings - so this will be the theory being given out all over York.....

We have a replacement consultant next week as ours is on holiday - I might bring it up at the meeting......

I think you should you know.YOu are paying your money every week and its not fair on you to be given duff information that will slow down your losses! Especially you are paying good money every week and its right you get your moneys worth :money: Some of the info (sweet potato incident) if you did that regularly not knowing it would slow losses down for sure. Broccoli, onions, mushrooms, carrot, courgette etc are all better options for filling out a curry or other meal as they are superfree...

    Bah :(
Have had a good few days eating wise, been sticking almost completely to plan, but then got out of work late today so popped into Tesco on the way home as needed some more bread, and possibly something easy to have for dinner when I got in, as I wasn't looking forward to having to cook for just me at 9pm. So in checking out the reduced section, obvs :money:, my purse ruled my head (and tummy) and I grabbed a sandwich as it was yellow stickered at 5p!! :money::money::money:

But naughty, as it was WHITE bread!! and Egg Mayo.
Am consoling myself with the fact that eggs are free :D, and pretending that I haven't just looked at the nutritional info (after eating it), and seeing that it had 16.2g of fat in. In one flimsy sandwich.

    Whoopsie!
