Morning all! MIL had done fruit for pudding yesterday so wasn't too bad!
Hope you've all got lovely plans for the bank holiday weekend. We get 4 days off as we get Tuesday too but it's my turn to work the weekend so I have to do the bank holiday days too. Luckily we just have to come in for as long as it takes to do what is needed and I tend to come in nice and early so I still have most of the day to myself. On Saturday we're going to a BBQ at a friend's house then sunday I'll be spending with my family. Tuesday mum and I are planning on going walking.
Today will be green as I couldn't be bothered faffinf about with salad and stuff last night so just grabbed stuff for lunch that took no effort!
Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana
Lunch - jacket potato, beans, sw quiche, grapes
Tea - HM chilli (HEB), maybe some cheese (HEA), rice, HM salsa0 -
Seems a few of us had a chocolate fest yesterday, another one here 'fessing up
Dance instructor is moving to a new place so he put huge boxes of sweets and chocolates on the table for us all last night and I couldn't resist the toffee Fredos
:o
There are 4 of us in the class who do SW and I scoffed the leastthen came home and OH had made toast......with real butter;)
Anyway, fresh start today
B: potato, eggs, ketchup (1)
S: yoghurt, banana
L: couscous, chickpeas, salad, orangeprobably pasta with veggies and a philly sauce (HEB)
Out tonight at a dancing thing so I will have a glass of wine but only a small one or I'll fall off my dance shoes :rotfl:
Dizzy - hope the head is better today
Newlywed - I find quark, fromage frais and yoghurt pretty much interchangeable, quark is a bit more 'cheesy' and yoghurt is a bit 'tarter' but I use whatever is in the fridge!;)
Payday today :j so I'll do a SW shop tomorrow and get lots in so that I can have a bit of a cookfest this weekend!0 -
Hi all,
Internet finally back on - will have to go back through when i have time!
Well done to all the losers and after what i thought was a rather bad weekend i lost 3lbs! must be subconsiously making the right choices. So thats now 18lbs in 7 weeks and only 3 more to go for club 10! so pleased and you lot can take some credit, its great to know were all in the same boat.
Anyway birthday BBQ tommorrow (or grill in the kitchen more like with the bloody weather!) all food is gonna be SW friendly so just the booze to contend with.
Have a lovely weekend all xxxx0 -
Morning All,
Not a great day yesterday - ended up having the hunters chicken - but did swap the chips for a jacket :A but then demolished a chocolate sundae! whoops
Trying not to have any syns today - but when you have just been offered FREE fish & chips, things can go a little downhill!
Not to worry, i will get some pickled eggs out of them instead of chips! Might even get some fish & not eat batter - but don't know if i can be trusted!
EE day today
B - Raspberries & strawbs with ff vanilla onken
S - Banana & cherries
L - AH morrocan couscous (1.5), pickled eggs
S - Muller light
D - Beef casserole - with cauli & broc & might have the aunt bessys swede & carrot mash - probably syns in it! (will go find out)
S - Fibre plus or scan bran (heb) for dessert - maybe a frozen muller if still peckish
Think the peppermint tea has helped IYKWIM :rotfl:
Might be going to cinema tomorrow, anyone got ideas on what to take that doesn't involve any syns (or very few!)
KEEP IT UP EVERYONE xxx0 -

Just looked online - SW says it is free so checked the nutritional value on aunt bessy website & put it into the calculator & still coming up free but these are the ingredients
Carrot (46%)
Swede (46%)
Water
Butter (2%)
Salt
Pepper
Contains: Milk.
So butter is free?
If i eat the whole bag is it still free? Strange!
Hey ho - i love the stuff so will be eating & not syning!0 -
nessie that aunt bessie mash sounds nice!
after going slightly off plan last night with my take away i need to be a good girl this weekend.
todays food is ;

l - baked bean lasagne, cheesecake muller (1), satsumas x2
dinner is either going to be new potatoes, asparagus, pepper and mushrooms roasted
or i have a tub of stir fry veg i ordered with the chinese last night and didnt eat so i might have that with some rice.
looks like another green day.0 -
Morning all, well done on all the losses and Dizzy I hope you are feeling better today and your migraine has gone.
Spending weekend in Kent at my parents and so looking forward to that. My mum is normally good at making sure the food is not too bad.
EE today
B - melon, mango and fibre plus bar (heb)
L - barbecue chicken shakers wrap (got to look up syns) and huge salad
D - not sure yet maybe omelette and veg
Have a good day all and good luck to those WI today.0 -
Morning all, hope we're all feeling positive today. I worry a bit about Bank Holidays as I tend to eat (or rather drink:o) more syns at the weekend and an extra day can be a bit risky.
My EE menu for today:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, mushrooms, bacon and egg
L: sandwich (ham and cucumber) and satsumapasta with Philly (HEA), mushrooms and bacon
Syns and snacks: wine and I'm planning to eat a whole melon in stages through the day to keep the superfrees up
I've had two cups of tea so far with just a splash of milk. I plan to drink water/squash through the rest of the day and then reduce the 71g of philly proportionately to allow for the milk. I know it's a bit uorthodox but I'll give it a try.0 -
It is gorgeous, used to have it all the time before SW - it tastes better than doing the carrots & swede yourself - dont know why - maybe its the butter! :rotfl:
Thanks for the tip nessie. I'm going to give that a try. Just lately, it seems how ever small I cut up swede and however long I cook it, it never seems to mash down smoothly. Auntie Bessie's stuff is often on offer too, I'll be keeping an eye out.0
