I'm all out of motivational/witty comments today folks re any 'bad food days' & 'not great losses' flat.gif306.gif Just...... keep at it girls x x

Ive just woken up after going into a migraine induced sleep on the sofa (getting a strop on and stressy, plus the low pressure with stormy weather aint the best combination in the world:o) good news though....my new head meds seemed to work this time.

I'm off now to curl back up under a blanket, I still feel a bit carp & I'm doing a baaaaad thing & not weighing in tonight as I can't be bothered even attempting to get dressed......or get any food

    Hello!

Dizzy - I'm very cross on your behalf, it's totally rotten to cancel on you again. If you want me to go and tell them off I will, I'm very good at telling people off (HR manager, comes withthe territory!)
Woofer - I've also had an accidental scoff today, my team at work were all feeling a bit low so I bought them some cupcakes while I was out getting my lunch, and accidentally ate two of them myself. My book says that an iced cupcake is 5 syns, but these had loads of icing on (so much that I feel sick now) so I'll call them 7.5 each and my syns for the day.
The fridge is empty and the cupboards are bare so i had to go out and buy lunch today, but it was just a quick trip to Adsa, not the chippy, so it was ok!
    Green again for me:
    Milk in tea (A)
    oats, berries and yogurt (B)
Ryvita and a banana (rest of the B)
salad, wm roll, quorn lights or bites, can't remember what they are called, but like frisge raiders but made from quorn. Unless someone tells me otherwise I shall assume that these are free.
    cherries (B for the roll)
    2 cupcakes (call it 15)
not sure what I'll have for dinner, maybe stir fry, maybe pasta, or maybe jacket spud with beans and cheese as I've got an A to use up.

Have a nice evening, it's nearly the weekend, hurrah!!!

Does anyone else think the Asda tinned chickpea dahl tastes a bit odd since they have repackaged it?

Yes - but I'm even more confused!

You can still put veg in a bolognese sauce but because the whole thing cooks down whilst cooking you are advised that to comply with EE you have to serve some extra veg with it. This is because The veg will reduce more than the meat in the sauce, and you apparently have to factor in the fact that the pasta swells whilst cooking! ( The relevance of that passed me by completely!)

When i asked about soup - and did we have to eat extra veg with it I was told that because soup is probably mainly veg - it's fine ( which is a relief!)

She also went on to reiterate that you have to eat your fruit/veg with your meal for it to count - not just graze on it throughout the day!

I will ask my sister if anyone has mentioned this where she goes - I think her group is in Didcot.

Leader did mention that she had made a curry with beef and sweet potato - and since the new advice had come in she was putting twice as much sweet potato in to keep the proportions up! Apparently it's fine to do this!

Like i say - it's as clear as mud! But hey - soups okay so that's a bonus!

And I registered a 1.5lb loss this week and.....

    I GOT MY 3 STONE AWARD!:j:j:j:j

Sorry Yorkie, and I bet someone else has said this but I have to say it, that does not make sense. Sweet potato is NOT a superfree vegetable. To me, your consultant has no credibility at all. Sorry, no offence to you, I know you're just passing on what she says.

Dizzy - sorry about the op:(

Thanks for baked bean lasagne recipe - I can make a vegan version of that - sounds good!

I have been good today with eating - still glad I went to WI only lost .5lb but it was still a loss!

Think I'll write a plan for trying to cope with a flexi weekend on the train to Bristol - I don't want to have a total blow out:o

I managed to get a pack of those Pagen Krisprolls - wow I love them! Only problem is I can't get to Asda and can't find them anywhere else! Anyone know where else sells them? None in Waitrose or Co Op - my nearest shops. Wonder if Tesco or Sainsburys have them?

Lynz, I even went to the trouble of grabbing my book to check! Frankly I think Yorkie's consultant should be reported if she is talking such rubbish.
