    Hi all,

ok so I've got my fromage frais and quark and I'm ready to experiment!! Anyone got their best uses for these? :D

I have also overestimated the size of my fridge when ordering my shopping :rotfl: so I will be eating lots tomorrow - lots of fresh fruit and veg and fat free yoghurts ;)

Im never quite sure of the difference between FF yoghurt, fromage frais and quark. Well obviously I know they're different, but I dont know which should go best in which recipe IYSWIM :o So I generally go for whichever is in the fridge... in curry, pasta sauce etc. Ive also used fromage frais in lasagne (replacing the cheesy white sauce) and that works quite well ;)

Thanks everyone - good to know I can track them down - think Parents shop at Sainsburys so will ask them to get some. They are a bit moorish so am having to be strong! Pack seems to have gone down so reckon it's not just me who likes them!

Quick question... do you tell people about SW, or keep it to yourselves?I'm struggling to keep it a secret...

I didn't tell people at work straight away but when people started noticing how much weight I'd lost then I told them! And now at least 3 people from my office are joining sw after I told them all the fab things I've been eating! My family knew straight away and I now announce all losses on facebook because I'm so damn proud of myself!! :D

I mostly use yogurt and fromage frais for putting on fruit but today we had a lovely raita (?) dip to taste at our group. That was made with yogurt so I'll be trying that out this week.

Quark is much more cheesy and I make passable Dauphinoise Potatoes with it. It's my own adapted recipe rather than the SW one.

The only person I told was my DH as he needed to get onside as he shares the cooking (and eating) at home. When people started noticing I'd lost weight I just said 'healthy eating' to start with and, if pushed, said the things I avoid on SW. More recently I have told a few people when specifically asked. What I want to avoid is 'going on' about it when I'm out for meals etc which is why I tend to eat syn-free at home and keep syns for socialising.

I've told a couple of people, but I don't shout it from the rooftops. The girl I sit opposite at work literaly talks about nothing else. I'm really pleased that she's doing well and has lost loads, and it's nice to be able to have a quick chat about it sometimes but it seems all-consuming with her and sometimes it does get a bit much!
