Almost through my first week now and due to sneak out from work to weigh in tomorrow lunchtime. (I say 'sneak' cos my colleagues aren't used to me leaving the office for a break. How long will it take them to notice that I'm losing weight and put two and two together I wonder?)

I feel as though I've made a good start with a few pounds coming off so far. I can always tell by how well my bra fits. My aim is to be under the round stone mark (not losing a stone, just getting below the next milestone) before my birthday in a couple of weeks, so that I feel I can treat myself to some new clothes if I do get any spends. Maybe not even from a charity shop and possibly even something that's in fashion! In fairness DH is always trying to persaude me to get myself some new clothes but for the past four years I feel as though I've constantly been saying 'I'll get some when I lose some weight!" There again, I might even fit back into some of my old ones from up the attic.

Ah well, it's incentive enough for me for now! Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

I bought frozen catfish fillets the other week. Covered them in cajun spices ( chilli, cayenne, paprika thyme etc) and fried in a touch of frylite on a non stick pan. Really unfishy fish. Light, white flavour. Takes on seasoning well. It was 3.50 for 4 massive fillets or 3 bags for £10 which I will buy next time. Was gorgeous. Utterly gorg!

otherwise, coley is fantastic. Just love that one too.

Im getting more adventurous with fish too. Bought a dab the other day, lovely light flavour too but so many bones:eek:

I bought some frozen basa fillets (£2 for 5 fillets from aldi) they don't taste of much, and are lovely baked with some chilli flakes on top :D

Just delved into tuna steaks too, was slightly chewy and didnt really taste of much just a bit 'meaty'. they dont taste like tinned tuna at all.

congratz, thats an awesome loss. :T

I've been so busy doing uni work recently that food has been on a back burner this week! I don't think i'm eating enough, which sounds weird to say :rotfl: by the time tea time comes and goes its about 11 o clock, and I dont have time for any supper!

Had fahjita's for tea tonight, so all my syns have gone on tortilla's and spice mix. Still got 2 Hea's left to use, not sure what to have, not got any options left to have a hot choccie.

Went back to the club by work tonight - nice welcome there from the consultant, now transferred to this club and am aiming to go to one club not to different ones.

Had expected a bad gain after moving from morning weigh in to eve and after holiday and easter over eating but had gained 1lb - so not too bad - got me back on track, going to re read my book and old magazines to get back on track.

Considering what I've eaten I was lucky to put 1lb on could have been more.

So feeling nice and positive - worked 8.30am to 8.30pm but took a cool bag of salads/yoghurt/fruit/pasta today so was well organised - makes such a difference.

Still got Easter chocs but set limit of one tiny choc an evening as syns.
