    Afternoon all!
Had a full 5 hours sleep last night:j:j Very good for me!

Today hasn't been too bad apart from 2 sneaky bourbon biscuits at a very boring meeting after school.

    Green day as always....
Breakfast - Hifi bar (B choice)
    Mid morning -banana
Lunch - pasta and pesto (1 syn), mixed berries and grapes
Tea - chick pea curry made with pataks paste (2 syns) including mushrooms, tomatoes, pepper and onion with brown rice
Extras - 2 bourbons (7 syns:eek:, not worth it at all)

    So that's 10 syns so far:o
Will have to find something syn free is I need anything else later (have an A and B choice left so may be cheese on pagens? But only if needed!)

Right off to concoct a curry of some sort....

Looking at it I may have a go at this 7 day thing for the 5 days after today before Tuesday's weigh in (IYKWIM) - I'm only a few lbs from target and perhaps that's what I need to get me there?

I can usually stay within 7 syns as long as there's no wine on the agenda but need to look at the book to see what counts as a superfree - may report back later....

Yes, that's my understanding, otherwise you'd starve (well I would anyway!)

    What plan are you on?

Stock made with boiled bones is free, I think, so if you're on EE then no problemo. :T If not, maybe count 6 syns or a healthy B for the meat (if you're on green) or syn any non-red day veggies if you're on red.

MORNING - Well I've been up since 4.15. Went to bed at 12 ish, went to the loo at 3 ish and lay there trying to get back to sleep for over an hour! I am thinking I will have to try Nytol again. I was taking 1/2 a tablet each night for ages and then got a bit worried when everyone kept saying I would get hooked on them. Each time I got more there was an inquest as to had I had them before, did I know they could become addictive?

Have you ever tried night nurse to help you sleep? I have a bottle in for emergencies, as its definately not to be encouraged to use regularly, its for people with colds and flu to help them sleep, but boy does it knock you out!
The only thing I find with it is you tend to feel quite groggy the next day even if you have slept wonderfully all night, but its magical if you havent had a decent sleep in days, it really does work :)

Well done Wootball. I hope the wedding goes well.

I got my 2 stone off award this morning as my 44th birthday present to myself. Only about 6 more stone to go......

Thank you for your help and inspiration, and take care all of you.

So my version of this 7 day thing is...
    • 1 A choice
    • 1 B choice
    • 7 x 500 ml of water (probably NAS squash for me, can't stand water)
    • 7 x speed foods
    • 7 extra mins of exercise
    • 7 syns
    • Usual green day free food (I'm a veggie)
    Will start tomorrow! Honest!:p
I have been through the book and was surprised to see how many thuings I actually like are speed foods - lots of F&V that are edible to me and quorn!

I think I'll do something like this tomorrow (apologies for the wofffle, it helps me get things straight in my mind :o)....
    • Breakfast - Hifi bar (B choice)
    • Mid morning - satsuma (S)
    • Lunch - chickpea curry and brown rice (1 syn) (contains tomatoes, mushrooms, pepper and onion (4x S)), mixed berries (S)
    • Tea - beans (S), small jacket and cheese (A choice)
That's 7 speed foods, 1 A and B and 1 syn leaving up to 6 syns for something in the evening if I need it. It doesn't look too bad if you write it all down.
I have to find 7 mins extra exercise - will walk the dog the long way round his route I think.

All that remains is 7x 500 ml of water  - looking forward to flushing out all of the calories and fat tomorrow! Think I'll take a bottle of squash to work instead of 1 of the 2 cans of diet pepsi I usually take (can't give them both up) and have something to drink before I leave in the morning (normally wait until work) and then just perservere with the rest through the day and evening.

Wait for the news tomorrow when they announce a hose pipe ban due to increased use of water in the North West!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Anybody else having a go?
