I'll need a snack before tea as we won't be having it till after 9pm when hubby gets in from work. Will see what I fancy at the time, I'm supposed to have an extra HEB now I'm at target so I might have a pitta and make some HM salsa as I have millions of tomatoes and cucumbers (they were 3 for £1 on the market!!!!!)

That's got a nice ring to it Lisa, and tripped so easily off your tongue.:) Have a good day.

Can I ask how you cook polenta please?
I bought some Salter scales in Sainsburys a few weeks ago, £10 down from £20 on a half price offer - they are RUBBISH - you ca nstep on , off and on again and the weight will vary by 7lb! I have switched to Tesco scales on a Saturday morning.

I'm a happy bunny :jI got to the training and it was cancelled - the system has crashed :rotfl:

I don't even know what polenta is!! I think I remember seeing it on ski holidays, but have never tried it.

Yesterday was an ok day I think, going to have an add up now...

    EE

B: 2 weetabix (HEB) with milk (HEA) - rest of milk goes in teas all day.
S: McVitiies go ahead crispy slices (6 syns - won't be buying those again but wasn't going to put the last pack in the bin either!)
L: cous cous (1) cucumber, tomatoes, sultanas (2), sugar snap peas
    S: strawberries, orange
D: HM burgers from SW online recipe (extra lean mince, onions, fresh herbs) with potatoes mushrooms and courgette sauted in frylight.
S: strawberries and pineapple with FF yoghurt

So I think that seems right, 9 syns is a bit high for little reward I guess, but the go ahead bars are all gone now and won't be replaced.

On that topic, I know the alpen lights are 2 for HEB, but are there any other good cereal bars? Or anyone know a recipe to make a low syn version? I do find them very convinient when rushing around to work etc.

I did an hour at my running club last night too which I really enjoyed :-)

Plan for today is EE again:

B: 2 weetabix (HEB and HEA), orange
    S: apple
L: cous cous (1) cucumber, tomatoes, sultanas (2). Pineapple and strawberries.
D: roast pork dinner (pork, SW roasties, vegetables, apple sauce (1) maybe a yorkie but need to check syns first

So thats 4 syns gone, 6 left. Probably won't have to yorkie as I think I'd prefer a little choccy bar instead, will assess my options online later.

l - pesto (3.5) pasta, with tomato and apertina (hea) in and a w/m pitta (heb), apple, muller light

i think apertina is a brand of feta cheese so i allowed myself 42g as a hea. but i just want to check that with you guys ???

oh i went for a check up at the docs last night and i weighed 12.4st there. if that is correct i have lost 3lbs so far since monday yay.

Im back from my coupl of days MIA

Had another blimming awful Migraine when I got back from Physio....Havent got my new meds from Pinderfields yet as my Doc hasnt had the letter to prescribe them, so I had to take the ones that don't work so good :(

Anyhow managed to feel 'human enough' by last night and went to WI......flipping 2lb ON!:mad: effing *week fairies
still no sign of *week itself......but I feel like an umpa lumpa on steroids today so it really cant be far away :o Poor MrDizzy said I am making !!!!!y comments about everyone & everything on telly......sooooo not like me as he pointed out :o and he may offer to work ALL WEEKEND so he doesnt have to come home if *week doesn't hurry up and get it over with:rotfl:

We had a call from the repair shop this morning about our car......they have had to order some MORE parts to do with the suspension system so its going to be at least another 4 days longer then they thought to do the work (getting more expensive too....sooooo glad its insured *gulp*)

Not sure what day I'm having yet. Ive had a big bowl of rasberries & yog for Brekkie. I really want CARBS for the PMT......But I'm not sure if all the Green days & pasta when I couldnt get out to shop has contributed to the 2lb *week gain (I normally do gain though.....but I feel especially fat & bloated this time.. more than normal)

I used to love those crispy slices, but i've definately noticed moving away from certain things as they just are not worth the syns any more!

I really love the Aldi Harvest morn cereal bars which are 2 for a HEB too. I find them less 'airy' then the alpens, and taste a bit flapjacky which is great :D

Aww poor Dizzy, as if you don't have enough to deal with!!! Blackberry your comment about not opening your eyes when you get up in the middle of the night for a pee made me chuckle, I thought it was just me that did that! Then I read that consultant31 does that too ....... so we're all as bonkers as one another.

Does anyone know where to find details about Success Express on the SW website? I know someone put up the basic idea of it on here (thanks :) ) but I can't find it on SW website anywhere, I thought there might be a sample menu or something, but if there is I can't find it. My Cons suggested I give SE a whirl this week, just to mix things up a bit as I was disappointed with a STS this week.
I've bought some of (The Dreaded) Scanbran this week and I'm going to try and incorporate it in a few recipes as (apart from the fact it tastes revolting) everyone seems to rave about its, ahem, positive results. Also tracked down some Quark though I'm not sure what I'm going to do with that yet!!! Any suggestions ?
Come on you lot, repeat after me 'We will be big, fat losers!' IYSWIM :rotfl:

Thanks to you all i attended my first meeting on Monday & am half way through the week. I've been good but have had to syn more than i wanted as there was food in the fridge/cupboard that couldn't be wasted - i'm an MSE'r as well as a slimmer. Only things like the wrong bread / salad dressing / mullers but not light / Alpens but not light - so not too bad.

Anyway shopping today & a couple of questions if anyone can help before I leave work - are tinned graoefruit segments free?
    are any quorn sausages free?
    what about quorn burgers etc.
Are little packs of dry noodles free if i dont put the flavour sachet in? Are there any free pasta instant type things?
I'm thinking of savoury snacks that can be kept in for emergancy? Luckily i don't often have a sweet tooth.

I know i've been good - it's only 4 days, but today I feel fat, is it in your head do you think? because of eating till your full.

    Thanks in advance
