I feel positively saintly as have done a full working week on plan :D just hope the scales are kind come sunday :o
Delicate hugs for Dizzy, nothing worse than a bad head. Hope they sort your meds out soon. What with fax machines they should have been able to fax the letter straight away so you shouldn't have to wait for snail mail.

Am on lunch duty 3 days in a row next week, hope the 3 lots of bread rolls don't cause problems :o.

Its sooooo annoying..... This happened last time they altered my meds, I was told to make an appt with my Gp 2 weeks afte seeing the neuro team to get the prescrip done - but nothing arrived so the reception had to chase it up for me. My OH rang up today (its been 2 weeks since I went again....no letter from the hosp ) so he has rung the neuro nurse on her mobile direct & left an answerphone message asking her to fax a copy through and let hin know, as I need these meds asap before the next one.

On the subject of Bread rolls...... I had WM bread rolls as a HEB almost every day last week when doing Greens, whilst it was easy to use up what we has in the cupboards/freezer with not being able to shop (and carb craving :o) I'm convinced the bread has done me no favours in the old tum dept again - *MOVICOL my friend I need a bigger dose of you*

I will never learn to stay away from the evil bread....we just do not agree with each other! A real love hate relationship:o:rotfl:

I ended up doing a green day today.....The Call of the Comforty was strong again ;)

B mahooosive bowl of Rasbs & Activia yog

    L JP & Beans

snack bag of satsumas :o (I pretended it was a chocolate orange :D)

T mushroom omlette, beans, grilled tom. activia,

HEA milk for teas HEB1&2 oaty bar toffee

    Syns
white choc option 2 penguin wafer 4.5

need to drink more tomorrow :( I'm letting this slip BADLY Ive hardly drunk anything the last couple of days when I had the migraine, and today when Ive thought about it.....Ive only had 4 BIG cups of weak tea/fruit tea & no squash or water *BAD DIZZY*

I WILL BE GOOD I WILL BE GOOD I WILL BE GOOD :A

Dizzy - any chance that you could tell me what is on the leaflet? I've never heard of SE!

Its just a small 4 sided A5 leaflet that our consultant gave me, It ays on it " for those times when you want to super-boost the result on your scales-following a holiday, after a holiday, after a flexible syns day-to get back on track or even to wave goodbye to the last few pounds to reach your target"

She did say its not meant to be followed as an alternative to EE/RED/Green (probably why you havent seen it anywhere) but consultants can give it out just to help people if they need a few days BOOST.

She recommended doing no more than 3 days out of a week SE for a speedier loss when I came back off holiday to shift the guacamole I brought back on my Bum;)

gave blood this evening and they insist you eat something afterwards so out of all the crisps and biscuits i went for a pack of 3 ginger nuts. no idea of the syns but i hope i made a reasonable choice!

got home feeling alittle woo so i ate something sweet - a caramac ice cream bar to be exact. then i looked up the syns and was pleasantly surprised to find it was only 7 syns - thought it would of been loads more!

for dinner i had home made dahl which would have maybe 1 syn in per portion for the oil used to fry off onions and spices. with a tilda basmanti rice which i have forgotten to look up but i seem to remember them being about 2 or 3 so i will say 2.5!

snacked on a packet of squares while watching tv (4.5)

i know i have gone over my syns today but not by a huge amount - besides i am sure a pint of blood must weigh a pound or two right? :rotfl:

I was really good all day at work yesterday and had great intentions for syn-free tea before going out with DH and the neighbours to see a comedian (birthday treat so i'd saved my sysns for a big glass of wine beforehand). Then the clutch cable on my car broke on a blind bend on my way home from work! We managed to get it off the road and recovered and made it to the venue with minutes to spare but the car is out of action and I imagine it's going to be pricey to get it sorted out. Dohh!

It took so long to get drinks in the interval that I had to down the spritzer in record time - at least that helped to relax me and the second half was a right hoot.

But when we got home at 11pm, having had no time for tea beforehand, DH and I were very hungry. i don't suppose a smal slice of m-i-l's quiche was too drastic and I had salad with it ... before a piece of buttered (wholemeal) toast with houmous and a few pieces of very cheap chocolate. Doh again!

I really want to get back into some speedy loss as I've plateaued a bit (my fault entirely). But when I got home with no time to dry my jeans and five mins to get out, I wore my new dress as a dress not a top and it actually looked OK.

Working this morning and a party to go to tonight, so here goes for a good weekend...

Hey lisa I heard about the job losses on the radio earlier is it in Hartlepool area? Sounds like there might be something better though, so fingers crossed for youx

Hi Lynz, no not hartlepool, North Lincolnshire (S!!!!horpe!). OH works at the same place but it sounds like he'll def be ok.

I'm at my Godson's 3rd Bithday party today so will save all my syns for that, have had a banana and a yogurt for brekkie but don't know what I'll be eating the rest of the day!

Dizzy, bread has the same effect on me, I do however, find that I can eat WM pitta without a problem so I just have those all of the time. Some people believe that alot of people's problems with bread are due to modern mass production techniques used to make the bread rise really quickly rather than the wheat or yeast. The fermentation process doesn't happen fully and thats meant to be something to do with it. I'm pretty sure thats my problem as when I treat myself to homemade bread (that I leave to rise really slowly) it doesn't seem to affect me the same.

Just back with half a ton of F&V from Mr T - I will attempt the 7 day thing today - promise!

Had a quick mid week weigh this morning as always and the scales say that I've lost (perhaps biscuits are good for you?).
Don't really believe it - will wait to see what Tuesday's WI brings - the lard from the biccies will have probably settled by then!
Will be back later with food for the day once I've worked out what needs eating first from the European fresh mountain now residing in my fridge.;)

ETA - Mr T accepted the £5 off £40 voucher from the NOTW without a quibble - I didn't even buy the paper, just printed off the site. There's another one in the paper tomorrow - more free superfrees for us!!!! Avoid the biscuit aisle at all costs - loads on 3 for 2.
