I need stuff for the CV and team stuff is preferred but I have never played team games as I was hopeless at sport due to having polio as a child so that is not going to happen. The nearest I got to a team sport was the sailing. Church stuff is not looked upon favourably I even have to hide the fact that one of my referees the chairman of the charity is a clergyman by referring to him as Mr.
Running is definitely too bouncy :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I used to do origami as a child do you remember a children's programme that showed you how to do it - I loved it but don't think that is quite the impression I am suposed to be making - more like white river rafting or hang gliding and before you ask I won't be doing either of those as I am a scaredy cat
Tricky to make yourself sound interesting instead of being a boring old f**t
What happened to the supposed warmest day? nice yesterday but distinctly chilly here today hope it improves this afternoon we filled the paddling pool yesterday
Off looking for adventurous things too - but maybe a cup of coffee first

Iused to put 'going to the gym' although it's not a hobby, more a necessary evil for a short bird who likes crisps!!!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Well surely then you could list your hobbies as:
"debating" - aka arguing the toss with OH and offspring
"literary discussion group" - formerly known as bible studies
"coaching / mentoring /teaching small groups " aka sunday schoolSaving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

I like your thinking although my CV is already full of items that are stretched beyond what one would think are humanely possible even the career coach said I would have to do some blagging
Just goes to prove how boring I amand why I needed help to sell myself in the first place
Trouble is I may have a boring social life but i know I would be good at the job so I just need to get my foot in the door and then they won't want to let me go
Career coach said could I start sailing again - just wondering if model boats on the local boating lake would count???

That is great, isn't it! And I think the model boats *do* count - you can talk the talk when push comes to shove, and if you had a bit more money - which you would if you got the job - you might well start sailing again! Just read a few magazines to keep you up to date, and visit the local marina
Thats blagging2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
hi DT wow what a lot is happening in your life at the moment. I can empathise a bit!.
I loved those jackets. Sadly couldn't wear them myself as I am rather large chested but hey ho, just another reminder to actually take the cellophane off the Shred DVD I have bought and start using it!
Hope your little one is now improving. fingers crossed for an improvement in her hearing.
Sometimes settling is the way forward. If the claim against us was for less money I would settle it in a heart beat, but I don't see them taking the figure I would suggest.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Just a thought, and as I've never had a professional CV, so bear with me. Why are hobbies important? I've never put them on my CV; mine would be very solitary activities indeed, crafting, reading, crosswords. Things like being very active are expected in your twenties, but I'm a scaredy cat too!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
