Not much happening in the DT household except for catching up on paperwork which seems to appear from nowhere just when I think I have finished :(

My car passed its MOT yesterday which considering it has done 165K miles I am very happy about :D

In work news not a lot except I am trying to improve my typing speed by learning to touch type instead of using 3 fingers ;)

OK as long as the words only contain the letters jkl fds :rotfl::rotfl: which is as far as I have got a bit limited as I have no vowels yet :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I don't use text speak personally.......but having two teenagers in the house, I have had to learn how to interpret it!

I have decided that I need days that are three times as long as normal and this is before I start work

    This week I am

    1. Job Hunting
    2. Learning to touch type
    3. Starting both children on an online reading course (really unhappy about their reading especially my little girl don't want to be seen as an over pushy mum but do wonder whether she is dyslexic obviously the hearing issues don't help so I am going to give this course a try and see how she manages and if she is still struggling I will seek some professional help)
    4. Gardening 2 hours done so far between the showers need to do some more today as it is supposed to be the best day of the week and the garden is a mess :o
    5. Attend two meetings with Social Services
    6. Clearing out son's bedroom of my junk :o before he returns home on Friday
    7. Go to Cardiff on Thursday and collect said son
    8. Do a letter to sponsors/donors to inform them that visit from Ugandans is cancelled because visas declined  and work out new strategy to get the necessary information to them
    9. Catch up with paperwork
    10. Prepare for Sunday School

Actually I think the days need to be even longer :rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Must dash

  • Thats a fair list, tell me whn you learn how to suspend time ;).

What did you think to the F1 on Sunday? We also watched most of the Le Mans, some horrific crashes and just thankful they walked out of the cars on their own.
One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

I really enjoyed the F1 so exciting so pleased for Button - and the gaps meant I could do the things I had to do without missing any of the action didn't see le mans but did see a repeat of one very bad crash thank God that motor sport is so much safer than it used to be.

Suspending time would be good I am never going to get everything done :(

I am on lesson 5 of my typing
Kids have done lesson 1 of their course and love it
    One hour gardening done
    2 Social Services Meeting done

added to the list for tomorrow take Mom to the doctors for annual check up - I forgot that one :o and Health Visitor calling to see foster child and I really really must get the junk out of my son's room
