i agree, our house is cleaner and less cluttered recently but the whole house could do with a coat of paint/gloss but it all got ruined in the shed over the winter so need to buy all new

Ours is a renovation project, so some rooms are still just primed plaster, but paint is fearsome expensive! We spent all the money on the important things like new wiring, new central heating and a new bathroom. Been here a year now, kitchen next on the list - unpainted walls are going to have to wait.

Am wondering whether to tackle the enormous pile of coats in the back hall - how many coats does a family of 4 actually need?!? Will definitely make me feel better even if only 1 or 2 go on Freecycle or in the loft for next winter.

I always have trouble with BA's online check in cos I have 2 people with the same 1st name. If you phone the helpline they can block out seats for you.

lack of rain, problems in other countries with floods etc and unrest in the middle east, all add up to prices of food going up and up, double in some cases in a matter of weeks.

Don't forget you can grow quite a bit these days in hanging baskets, pots and grow bags, even if you only have a balcony or tiny garden.

Off out now to plant more :j

Thanks Jacky - they should be open now too... ETA - done, thanks ... apparently the reason we can't check in is because we have other non-BA flights on our booking... it's never been a problem before ...

Lawn watering has helpfully given a couple of beds a good soaking... as they had new plants in them, that's handy :D

One load of washing in, a couple more to try to get done if time... so I guess I'd better call BA and then get dressed and get stuff done :(
