I'm back in again this week, thanks piggers and toots.
We went to the beach house on friday back today, had an ok time. Poor Rhys came out in spots on friday, he has about 30 and i think it may be the chicken pox but it's really hard to tell. Kids have been fighting most of the time and to be honest i'm glad to be home. :D

    froddington thats good news.

    Plan tomorrow
    1) get gardens cut
    2) sew button on DD's school dress
    3) get uniforms, school bags ready
    4) catch up on the washing
    5) bring treadmill in

Right best get the wm on and then get organised for bed.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j

I think the sad face after Divas tribute needs to be changed to a singing one.. she wouldn't want us to be sad she would want us to smile and remember her love and joy.

OK I have been absent for several months and lurking for the last week, but just have to ask about the quoted post? Diva? The one who used to put up loads of pics/icons of fairgrounds etc? What happened?

And while Im at it, what has happened to Lady liberty?

And hi again to old friends and new. Hope to be flying again soon, but not tomorrow as have to take DS 150 miles to start new job on Tuesday

Now the sun is shining I realise I am the queen of smear when it comes to windows. I have tried water with a hint of vinegar, windolene, widow wipes. I would love to make a better job of them when I start Mondays list. Any suggestions really welcome. Thanks

Micro fibre cloths and plain water are what I use and they seem to work a treat. Just dont have the cloth too wet (almost dry in fact).

I'm going to try and get back on the flying wagon, too often I'm finding excuses NOT to clean so thank you for the lists and if you see me on FB can you give me a kick if I've not posted an up-to-date list starting tomorrow :o

I need to make a "toots list" of everything I need to get done around here, might help me sleep better at night as well so that will be a job for tomorrow. Also need to do a HHG since my bin is reasonably empty this week I have plenty of room to fill before they empty it Tuesday ;)

    Monday:
    HHG
    Dishes
    Wash load
    Change beds
    Bath DD / me
    Cut DD's hair
    Colour my hair!
    Ironing until its gone!
Lunch for me for work Tue & Wed (cook pasta)
    Breadmaker on
    HHE
    Find/Write cheque for Violin exam
Sort money for school dinners for DD
    Write Toots list
Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One

Open the windows and turn on some music!
Dust/polish grubby glass and mirrors and pictures.
Declutter the chairs, floor and fireplace
    Level Two
Vacuum the floor now it is visible
Pile all hotspots into one heap and sort through it all.. File/shred as appropriate
Clean and defluff the fire.. arrange for chimneys to be swept if necessary and services! - think I should speak to the landlady about having the fire replaced, this one was condemned last summer and although we have CH I'd like something we can turn on for localised heat when we've come in a little chilly but the house itself is warm. If that makes any sense?
    Level Three
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
    Wipe sofas and dusty places
HHC in the[STRIKE] hallway[/STRIKE] Understairs cupboard.. sort those coats and shoes and mess!! Clear out handbags and schoolbags!
    Extras
    1. Freshen up any soft furnishings
    2. Binbag dance... grab a bag fill it and fling it!
    3. Wipe the woodwork in these areas
Right now, I'm going to go watch the end of Time Team and then chase DD to bed ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Lady Liberty is about when she can be.. she is moving house and hopefully staying well at the moment.

Diva sadly passed away in February.. She did purple early morning posts often with songs in and kept us up to date with her friend Tristan who was sick..

Funfairprincess is the one you were thinking of I presume?
