Definatly in for this week. You should see my front room today... DD's toys still out, DS car seat in the middle of the room, even this mornings coffee cups are still next to me as I type this... oops. Just waiting for DS to fall asleep so I can go to bed, so getting my list ready for tomorrow. Will have to do a lot of gardening at some point this week too.

DD is at her dads house tomorrow so this shouldn't be too difficult. Most of it is what I do on a tidy up the front room day anyway, half the time I manage to get her helping (okay, so she sweeps the carpet, but she enjoys it and it gives me peace to hoover etc).

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One

Open the windows and turn on some music!
Dust/polish grubby glass and mirrors and pictures.
Declutter the chairs, floor (and tables... )
    Level Two
Vacuum the floor now it is visible
Pile all hotspots into one heap and sort through it all.. File/shred as appropriate (this one could take a while)
    Level Three
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
    Wipe sofas and dusty places
HHC in the hallway.. sort those coats and shoes and mess!! Clear out handbags and schoolbags!
    Extras
    1. Freshen up any soft furnishings
    2. Binbag dance... grab a bag fill it and fling it!
    3. Check insurance policies/tax/mot etc to see when the renewals are up! (mine are up this month so will be renewing insurance)
    4. Wipe the woodwork in these areas
    To do list:
    Rubbish tip run
Empty bathroom nappy bin before said tip run
Get DF to finish doing the dishes (he promised they would be done today... he will do it if he knows whats good for him)
Hang all DD's clothes back in her wardrobe
Mummy to beautiful 5yr old girl and a gorgeous 1yr old boy:D

    Morning All,
I'm in again this week, spent all weekend in the garden and it is now starting to take shape.
now I need to get the inside of the house back in shape again.

My house is a big square box-like shape - excellent for storing stuff, like clutter

Leaving for Liverpool in a few minutes, but will be back - need to get control of said clutter. Since my mother passed away, I seem to have accumulated more stuff and most of it doesnt have a home. Housework has gone to the four winds too; need something to get me back on track - and where better than the Flylady thread on here?

I'm in again - did try to fly a little last week, but it was an uphill struggle.

I'm in the middle of reorganising the kitchen, so will be cleaning in there today. DD is off to a birthday party and I'm out to work later, so have some preparation to do for that.

I've been for a run and I'm off for some brekkie.

    Have a good day

Have done the front hall - which mostly consists of returning things to their rightful place, so is more of a procrastination exercise, but it's done and the floor hoovered. Just the back hall and the sitting room to do! It does seem to highlight how much it all needs decorating once it's tidy though...

i agree, our house is cleaner and less cluttered recently but the whole house could do with a coat of paint/gloss but it all got ruined in the shed over the winter so need to buy all new

Sprinkler has been on for the lawn this morning... it was new turf last year and wasn't very happy about a month with no rain. Apparently we've got two more dry weeks coming up :(

Other than that, I need to get dressed, get some washing on and start on the packing/cleaning so that it is done by lunchtime. Apparently its cold in Oslo, so that's going to take some effort to get my head round...

... and BA's online check in is STILL unavailable... good thing I ordered the taxi so early (let's hope the nice weather means bank holiday traffic doesn't build up too quickly) ...
