Can I join in? I've joined the Flylady thread countless times in the past and I don't think that I have ever managed a week! We have moved house recently and I'm just overwhelmed with trying to clean whilst unpacking and finding homes for everything - it is such a cluttered mess here at the moment.

    My plans for today are:

    [STRIKE]get breadmaker running[/STRIKE]

[STRIKE]two loads washing in WM and out onto the line[/STRIKE]

get the plants that moved home with us into the garden

    unpack three boxes

change address with all banks etc. online

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One
    [STRIKE]
Open the windows and turn on some music![/STRIKE]
Dust/polish grubby glass and mirrors and pictures.
[STRIKE]Declutter the chairs, floor and fireplace[/STRIKE]

    Level Two

[STRIKE]Vacuum the floor now it is visible
Pile all hotspots into one heap and sort through it all.. File/shred as appropriate[/STRIKE]

    Level Three
[STRIKE]Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
    Wipe sofas and dusty places[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]HHC in the hallway.. sort those coats and shoes and mess!! Clear out handbags and schoolbags![/STRIKE]

Wow, some news to wake up to...Osama bin ladan dead...historical weekend indeed.

I'm up and need to get my planning head on, got a lot to organise.
I thought I had mis-heard the first time - how are the Pakistan gov. going to explain not knowing who was living in a compound like that right beside a major army barracks?

I've just checked the Radio Times (other listing magazines are available) Why do we persist in having 'shrunken' TV news bulletins on a Bank Holiday?

OK I really must shift and do something (apart from emailing to find out why a parcel 'out for delivery' last Wed still hasn't appeared:mad:)

OH is now 'tutting' he knows he has to uninstall and reinstall, but is worried it might take out his saved bookmarks, so I'm leaving him 'tutting' as it is safer!

    Greenbee~ have a safe trip.

    Oven cleaned

Exciting stuff here on a bank hol!
Might go and look for some weeds in a bit, see if any have dared to grow overnight

I cant believe its 10.30 already. I'm getting so lazy...

I need to investigate what has gone wrong with my strawberry plants. They havent grown at all since OH replanted them last month. I'll see what Carol Klein says, then I'm going outside.

Now the sun is shining I realise I am the queen of smear when it comes to windows. I have tried water with a hint of vinegar, windolene, widow wipes. I would love to make a better job of them when I start Mondays list. Any suggestions really welcome. Thanks

Newspaper is brilliant for windows or mirrors especially if used with water with vinegar.

Morning all :D Been up a couple of hours and achieved...not much except breakfast :o Farmville was proving rather addictive this morning and I've only just noticed the time. Going to go and get washed/dressed, strip the beds, and get them aired & remade by midday! Will then start tackling my list...it could be a busy day even though I tidied up the majority of the livingroom last night *gulp*

    Monday:
    HHG
    Dishes
    Wash load
    Change beds
    Bath DD / me
    Cut DD's hair
    Colour my hair!
    Ironing until its gone!
Lunch for me for work Tue & Wed (cook pasta)
    Breadmaker on
    HHE
    Find/Write cheque for Violin exam
Sort money for school dinners for DD
    Write Toots list

Pile all hotspots into one heap and sort through it all.. File/shred as appropriate
Clean and defluff the fire.. arrange for chimneys to be swept if necessary and services! - think I should speak to the landlady about having the fire replaced, this one was condemned last summer and although we have CH I'd like something we can turn on for localised heat when we've come in a little chilly but the house itself is warm. If that makes any sense?
    Level Three
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
    Wipe sofas and dusty places
HHC in the[STRIKE] hallway[/STRIKE] Understairs cupboard.. sort those coats and shoes and mess!! Clear out handbags and schoolbags!
    Extras
    1. Freshen up any soft furnishings
    2. Binbag dance... grab a bag fill it and fling it!
    3. Wipe the woodwork in these areas
Going to go for a HHC at 11am and clear some of MY list ;) Catch you soon. xx
