Apart from geotagging unless Henlans was clever enough to remove any! Acts like GPS and gives exact location photos are taken in most cases, depends on camera etc - a www search will tell you more

can you explain what you mean for us thickos pease?

When you make a photo with smartphone or camera, it’s more then just an image. Most modern smartphones/ some cameras can add geotags which are info giving exact location where photo was taken. And viewers of your photo can get it (see www for more info)

There are a lot of risks; a few photos online can add up to a lot of info about you - say you have posted one photo taken at home, put a scooter for sale on an auction site and posted photos of you wearing pink at a marathon where everyone else is in pink too - simple step for a thief to read the geotags and work out that you may be out at the local Cancer charity annual race when it comes arounbd again next week and the scooter may be unattended at your home address - all from 3 photos

Or someone wanting to stay under the radar could become a clear blip on a radar screen by posting pics of their storeroom
You never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow

This is no longer about the 'abuse' of the system.

Yes, I openly admit taking advantage of a great deal, but there is nothing wrong there...
The police sided with me saying there was nothing wrong or illegal done.

Taking that factor out of the situation, you condone what the security did? You think they were right in feeling the way they reacted?

This is pointed at all those idiots that are clearly jealous of what we managed to achieve. I don't blame you. :)

You can geotag photo's but chances are the majority of images wouldn't be unless done manually. I don't know many cameras with built in gps, and you would have to be connected to the internet on smartphone for a picture to even be likely to be geotagged. I'm fairly sure it would tell you if it was geotagging.

Left my receipt in my pocket earlier this week and the date and the first digit of the time has smudged off with some of the left hand of the receipt. Do I need to go to customer services to get a copy receipt to go with the original and voucher to use it?

but the Police wouldnt be in the slightest bit interested unless it was a Criminal Act, which it wasn't.

perhaps the criminal act was you being accosted but you seem to have done nothing about that at the time.

What was the 'making a dash for it' comment, did you actually try to run off thus making you appear more in the wrong?

nobody is jealous, more that several of us think you may have had a hand in making this unfortunate incident happen, by your maximising your use of vouchers.

I note that you do not bother to argue that you knew you needed the receipts and had purposely left them 'in the car' in the hope that you would again, not be asked for them by your lax store.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)

Cannot harm if you also have an A4 copy to show that the heat has damaged your original.

or alternatively ask at CS before you shop to confirm it is OK to use.

Bug*er me, my (HTC Desire S) phone has Geotagging set ON as default (I do have unlimited internet so no cost) but I wouldn't have been very happy if I hadn't as presumably it would have eaten data every click of the shutter and cost me.

Also my photos have Geotags on them but the GPS is set to off, so don't quite figure how it overrides that general setting

    it's not that
i think its because the story just doesn't add up
there must be parts you are choosing not to tell us, not sure why you would post if only telling 1/2 the story as peeps are assuming you tried to reuse vouchers-i know we are not allowed to talk about this anymore on the forum but might have helped to us understand the situation
