Gah! Really having an unsuccessful afternoon. OH's laptop broke again after lunch, he'll go mad if I break his too (technology hates me). Tried to phone people about jobs but one number I try to ring goes to a recorded message saying 'this inbox is full you cannot leave a message' and the other the person wasn't there so just had to leave a message on thier awnserphone. Need to try and get some more CVs printed and handed out in town although Im rubbish at writing covering letters and have no idea what to say apart from Ive just left uni and I have customer service and retail experience...

Have to go down this afternoon so will stay away from Bodycare :p

I'm glad your gorgeous pooch is home safe Vivh. :)

I have a UU to report:

UU Ren Rose Body wash 50ml WIBA? Yes probably. Ren Grapefruit is my morning wake up shower gel of choice but this is nice too.

I have a blusher on the brink still, and I'm thinking of giving up on a Shizen lipbalm. I just prefer almost every other lip balm or moisturising lip product I've got so I have to force myself to use it. I don't even think it's a good product. It's too thick and hard.

I hope it's all going very well for you guys. (Hugs if it's not. :heartpuls)

    Love to all, :happyhear:happyhear:happyhear:happyhear

Bev - good luck with the job hunt. My OH works for jobcentreplus so if you have any questions just ask (can't guarantee you'll get a useful answer mind :rotfl:)

Kaz - your poor DS - hope he isn't in too much pain. :(

I got half way through it, stood up to shower/wash my hair etc, forgot it was there and started washing my hair, so my glass was filled with wine/shampoo water

BTW - my dog is driving me crazy, it is like living with a rhino, he is smashing the place to bits with the blasted cone on his head, good job it's there though or he would have scratched his ear badly by now - poor thing.

Bless him :p Poor little thing :(

I say bin it - if you hate it get rid - it's not like you can pass it on to someone and life's too short to stress about lipbalm ;)

but it's still going to be a Long Haul Job (ooh, can we have another anacronym of LHJ for products that seem to go on foreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever?! :rotfl:).

If everybody agrees I'll add it to our list .... what do you think ladies? I like it :T:T

Today has not been a good day :( Had my appt with the specialist and it was fairly pointless. He poked and prodded and pulled and pushed at me then proclaimed that 'Yes I do have CFS' (duh! we know that!) but I also have CPS - Chronic Pain Syndrome :( Kinda explains why I'm always in pain :rotfl::rotfl: I've been referred to a Pain Management Team for physio and some proper pain meds :T but don't know when yet :( Once the pain is under control we can start to look at the Fatigue side of things - so I guess I'm gonna be knackered for a bit longer :(

Popped into SD and picked up one of their new Loyalty Cards (its called a Beauty Card :p) and got some cotton wool pads (oh yeah - don't like CTM'ing with muslin :rotfl: too sticky :o) but with just 1 point per £1 it'll take me forever to get to a 100points. (hah! another LHJ :rotfl: ) More info on it HERE. When you register it you have to tell them what sort of stuff you like and they will email you special points offers. Can only be picked up instore it seems.

ETA: It does have a very useful shiny mirror on it though so worth getting one for a credit card sized mirror for your purse :D

    SDBCard.png

Then went to Boots and used a skinny and a 200 point voucher and got a Time Delay Eye Cream - not going on the naughty step for long for this as it was a 14p spend :rotfl: Also picked up some cheapo bath foam for OH - he hasn't noticed yet that I'm refilling his 'posh' bottles with the £1 a litre stuff ;)

Have a freebie IN of the BS Shea BB from MC - have put the mag away for holiday :D

Gonna have a sit down and then take advantage of the fact that I'm up and moving and get started on holiday packing (well sorting anyway)

Bev, that all sounds very positive, hope your OH is pleased too.

Kaz - hope your sons teeth are ok, I have problems with my teeth, genetically they are just not strong, I had my first filling at 19 and seem to have been having one every 15 minutes since:rotfl:.

Going to have a bit of a pamper night tonight, will be doing my normal cleansing routine then using S&G No Clogs Allowed, then into the bath using Champneys moisture miracle bath milk, I only have about 3 baths worth of this left and am trying to use it up, it is the only Champneys product I have tried which I don't like, it separates in the bath so i have to mix it in a jug with hot water then pour into the bath, otherwise it just floats about in random blobs. Will also be using the Champneys Skin comforting body wash - this is lovely. Afterwards will use Beautifully Delicious honey and almond body lotion, this is a LHJ product, it was in a bottle but was to hard to get out so I decanted it into a big body butter tub, it is more of a souffle type of product than a lotion - really lovely though.

    my first UU's

finished a tub of lushs iced wine jelly - WIBA- possibly good scent but u need a puff or something to squish and foam the jelly up in otherwise you wont get any foam or real cleaning action- and even then small bits of it still manage to get stuck everywhere.

one sample of chanels rectifiance intense moisturiser - cant really say WIBA as it was a free sample feels lovely and very nourishing but i would hate to think how much a full size would cost!_pale_
keep calm and carry on :rotfl:

:rotfl:Yes, I think we should definitely add LHJ to our terminology list!

Hey guys, I'm going to cook my evening meal (just oven chips and fried egg) and take it with me to go sit on the naughty step. Don't worry about me though as I shall be very happy there as I'll also take with me today's shopping stash to look through. I spent my BS Groupon coupon and got:

Sweet Lemon Shower Gel 250 ml
    Satsuma Shower Gel 250 ml
    Coconut Shower Cream 250 ml
    Coconut Shower Cream 250 ml
Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream 50 ml
LOVE Etc. Body Butter 50 ml
White Musk Body Lotion 60 ml
White Musk Shower Gel 60 ml
    Shea Soap 100 g

I had to pay £1 on top of the £12 that the Groupon coupon cost. Also picked up my free Love Your Body card and will be able to get my £5 freebie gift in my birthday month (August).

I've had a real splurge day as I also went into Boots and got a Champneys Mediterranean Bliss Shower Cream and qualified for the Spa Treatments gwp (Skin Comforting Shower Cream 40 ml, Citrus Blush Body Lotion 40 ml, Hand and Nail Cream 40 ml and Relaxing Dream Bath 50 ml). I used the 25% discount coupon from the Boots magazine. The receipt shows Best of Spa set £10.00 now £7.50 saving of £2.50, includes previous Champneys Best of Spa -£10.00, Med. Shower Cream £8.00, Total to pay £5.50. I used the 200 points coupon, so effectively £3.50, bargain!

I don't feel naughty as such but it is a little disappointing that I've come back with a shower gel stash as before today I only had three to uu:

Dove Go Fresh Body Wash 250 ml
BS Japanese Cherry Blossom 60 ml
No 7 Blissful Body Wash (in use).

I was so looking forward to declaring "I am using the last one" but that won't happen for a while now :rotfl:.

Oooh, picture please, I'm dying to see this hopefully gorgeous colour :j

Sorry no can do - I still can't find my cable for my camera to upload any pic

Some tasty delights that is inspiring me get into the kitchen and cook.

Oh Vivh - did have a giggle at the image of your poor pouch rambling around the house. Glad he is home though.

Kaz - Your poor DS - that sounds awful. Hope the antibiotics work quickly.

Bev - That's some great progress for one day. Glad to hear things are going well. Good luck with your IT course.

    Welcome to the newbies.

Came home tonight to find a Sheriffs letter demanding payment or the bailiffs will be round to auction off items from my home. But it is not for me - instead it is for a previous tennent!!! I bought my flat two years ago and I am raging at this. I have already had umpteen letters which I have returned to sender with "not known at this address" and even went to another sheriffs office to say I own the flat and do not know this woman!!. Do these people never amend their records?????

After calming down I have now found a contact number online for the agency and will call them in the morning. I have had enough of this - just passing on this address as her last known and ignoring all my previous actions. After 2 years of this I have reached snapping point.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Anyway - back on topic. My Jasper Conran perfume is spluttering now. It has been open now for over 2 years so I am glad that it is not getting wasted.
