Am I reading this right, you used to dye your hair the same colour as your eyes :rotfl::rotfl:, green, i'm guessing not.

:rotfl: Oops! Red hair goes with green eyes, so I don't look too bad with that. TG I've never had green hair, though I'd put nothing past Clairol Foam. I still have a C. Foam and will probably send it to Give and Make Up. Or is that a no-no, giving something so %&$&"&£ to charity?

    Evening All :D

Been to the In-Laws today so exhausted! Wore make-up for the first time this year and my face feels yuk! Am going to remove it all in a mo :p

Fiasco - Hope you feel better soon :(

mcculloch - Glad to hear your hair is getting back to normal :D

VALM - I agree - I wish Boots Adv Card could be used as part payment - maybe they'll change it if the SD one becomes popular :p

Had to stop myself getting cross today - we gave out various easter/birthday gifts to OH's family and his eldest 3 nieces are sooo ungrateful  I put a lot of effort into the gifts for them and barely get a thank you  I've already got their xmas pressies for this year and if they are just as rude when they get them then all they'll get next year is something from £land :rotfl: (and I'll spend what I save on meeeee :rotfl:)

It's not as if they have to write a letter and buy a stamp and go to the post box anymore - and they're quick enough to email us when they want sponsorship money for something - but not even a thank you when we are face-to-face gets my goat :mad:

Looking forward to my bath and an early bed now :D

I have a terrible awful headache this evening again. I've been on the verge of throwing up all afternoon too. We need a thunderstorm. I had an ice cream after tea and it seems to have cleared it for a while but it's now coming back. I did get out earlier and bought 3 toothpastes (on 3 for 2) but they were needed (well 1 was) so I'm not going on the naughty step!

My TSV arrived this morning. I stayed in especially to wait for it (how sad am I?). I actually love all the colours even YDKJ. Am wearing Houston We Have a Purple at the mo.

I also picked up two copies of Marie Clare with the Dreams Unlimited body butter on them.

Saw a bit of the LE show earlier but it does nothing for me anymore. First she changed the formula of C&P, then she sold out to Avon and now the shows are exactly same as any other beauty show ie model lying on couch being "pampered" by product guest. Am hoping I can find alternative toner and then will probably be in a position where I don't buy anything from this brand anymore (other than MrM's body wash which does smell delicious on him).

My TSV came today aswell. Using the Nail envy and avoplex to get my nails looking as lovely as sawan (seriously you should be a hand model):)... and then I will use the lacquers next week.
My only repurchase is the Skin Tonic from the Liz Earle range and yet all you hear about on QVC is how may awards C&P has got! Just love the smell of the skin tonic....

Also, bev, I think it should be ok for more than one use, let me know if you want me to pm you the L'Occitane code. I don't mean to tempt, but in case there's something you need :)

Oh forgot to say thanks for the offer sawan - I really don't know if the code is for more than one use or not but if you want to use it first and then pm the code perhaps:D:o -(although must remember that I am trying to be good.... but they are about to launch a new Angelica skincare range....must resist)

I think I am on the road to recovery now - feeling a lot better now. Still didn't make it out tonight but should be okay for tomorrow. My best friend has taken pity on me and brought me a copy of Instyle with the freebie Nails Inc Teal Nail varnish. Think this may have helped speed up my recovery :D

So it is one IN for me.

Also went to take advantage of the Cheap smells 50% off Tigi to find that my Sexed Up Body Building Tonic has been discontinued :eek:. My last one is spluttering with only a few more mornings left in it.

Also my HG Louise Galvin shampoo has another 2 applications left. I only have one left in the stash so think I will try and use one of the other products in the stash - possibly Phil Smith Big Hair.

I have a £5 off boots skinny and was thinking about getting some of the Dr Nick Lowe range. I while back I received the starter kit as a birthday gift to try and really liked the facial scrub so might splash out on that.

Good thought julie, I have some sitting on the fireplace. I'll smother her with that and then use the lavender one tonight. It's funny how it became my fault after I told her not to use it. She just doesn't listen unfortunately :( although she may start to now?

Ah, I bet her skin is more tender because she is YOUNG - wahhh!! Wave of self pity overcoming me here! Hope she is doing ok.

Sarah - you don't say how old they are? Teens?
I give money to my besties 2 boys and they ALWAYS call me to say thankyou. I tell them that they are good kids and because they have said TY they will continue to receive pressies from me :rotfl:. I'm sure it's their mum that reminds them to thank me but if they didn't I would simply stop giving to them or say something to their mum (would never need to with her to be honest though.) You work hard for that money, kids these days, pah!! Wait till they get a job and blah blah going into rant about kids not understanding the value of money......

VIVH - when you have 4 of something on the go at the same time, is it just for variety? I guess I would have a couple of face creams on the go but it would annoy me to have 4 bubble baths open! :o

Feeling quite guilty about my 2 hand creams today - more than anything I've ever bought.....think this is a good sign though that the stop buying message is sinking in. Goodness knows what tut I'll end up with though from the car boot tomorrow.

Too tired and achy and too late now for a bath so going to bed smelly - pooey! :D Well, as we all used to say to our ma's when going to bed with dirty feet 'they'll be clean in the morning' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!
