    Guys, I need help!
Right, got your attention. I'm typing this quickly from the library while the kids are in aikido :o.
DD was complaining this morning that her legs were hurting. As we were on our way out, I asked "Inside leg, muscle or bone?" She said "No skin". Turns out the wally has been scrubbing herself with the NEW body shop exfoliating gloves and has rubbed her skin red raw :(.
I have the Sanctuary body souffle (which I love, it is thick creamy and soothing) or a L'Occitane Lavendar body lotion to choose from. I've not used the Lavendar one as it was DD's Christmas present so I can't compare.

Anyone who has used both, please tell me IYO, which is the best. I'm erring towards the Sanctuary one because I feel that it will go on so thick that it will leave a barrier somewhat on her skin. But then I think the other one because Lavendar has healing and soothing properties.
    I'm at a loss guys!

I'll check back later for replies but will be tied up for a lot of the day (sewing!)

A uu for me this morning, Yarden Dead Sea Salt Scrub with Frankinscense oil - wnba, smells and looks lovely but the oil sits on top of the salt and you have to mix it up but the oil still got used up before the scrub finished so you are left with salt which is hard to use without dropping it all. Think I prefer cream based scrubs. Am going to give Flake Away another chance to redeem itself but if I still can't get on with it it is going in the bin.

    Here is my stash list:

Soap x 14 bars, 4 bottles hand wash
    Foundation x 8 - 4 in use
    Deoderant/Body spray x 34 6 in use
    Perfume x 11 8 in use
    Foot Cream x 3 1 in use

    Eye make up remover - 1 x botanics (in use) 5 x l'oreal

    Eye Creams x 10 4 in use
    Facial moisturiser/serum x 32 6 in use
    Face washes x 13 2 in use
    Cleansers/toners/wipes x 34 5 in use
    Face masks x 14 6 in use
    Face scrubs x 14 4 in use
    Bubble Bath x 18 4 in use
    Conditioner x 19 3 in use
    Shampoo x 18 1 in use
    Hand Cream x 11 2 in use
    Shower Gel x 53 4 in use
    Body Scrubs x 24 1 in use
    Body lotion/butter x 73 5 in use

My biggest achievement since starting the challenge is facial moisturisers which was something like 46, I have sold some on ebay, returned some and gifted some. My biggest failure is without doubt body lotion/butter, I just keep on adding to this, I use every day but don't waste them and they just last ages.

Some of my products are travel sizes and some are huge, none of the above are sachets.

I am having an inner battle today, I really want to use the 25% off champneys voucher and get the gwp and I also want to use the £5 skinnie (I have 2 and have resisited so far but the Sanctuary face wash is calling me).

I would use the lavendar one Kaz and if it is really bad add a bit more lavendar oil if you have some, or aftersun may work.

Ouch Kaz! Shame you don't have anything like Aloe Vera - that is good for this sort of thing...

Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

Good thought julie, I have some sitting on the fireplace. I'll smother her with that and then use the lavender one tonight. It's funny how it became my fault after I told her not to use it. She just doesn't listen unfortunately :( although she may start to now?

Nails inc electric teal from the in style freebie. They had another colour there too but I resisted :j

    Evening all!

Mum informed me that the beige is grim, the teal very nice and the orange a true easyJet shade. Rather fitting for me as a regular passenger :D

Interesting. I subscribed to Marie Claire in December as I realised it was cheaper than even buying just 7 copies at the airport full price. I didn't get the cowshed freebie and haven't seemingly had the BS body butter either. I e-mailed them and got the answer that the provider of the free gift has to pay for the extra postage & if they don't want to cover it, then tough. I think it's a bit mean that as a subscriber you miss out.

That is brilliant :rotfl:What a novel way to say goodbye to some soap!!

Fiasco55 - hope you don't come down with anything nasty, there seem to be a lot of horrible viruses around at the mo.

Flirtini - did BS win or the cola?!

Kaz - liked your post and wise words.

Right that's it settled - once I am feeling a bit better I'm off to the newsagents for a rummage in the mag racks. Quite fancy the teal and want a look at the fawn.

Charlie - another :money: convert. I have had similar success with my mum and best friend as well. I think it really does rub off when they see what finds you can get or your behaviour when out shopping with them.

Lovely list Rachel - It can take a while to sort out your lists but it is well worth up. You can see at a glance your weak points for buying and what products you need to target. Also there is something almost euphoric about scoring products off your list :D

I bought the mag for the bag but it is very small and flimsey:(there is a15% off coupon for CK tho ,had free cK bags before and they were much better

That is a shame - I thought this might be quite nice to use as a gift bag for my friend's birthday present.
UU No7 microdermabrasion face scrub - WIBA Yes this is good stuff but I have a couple of face scrubs in the stash so am going to use those.

Has anyone here tried Too Faced Lash injection mascara? I opened it up a couple of days ago and have to say I am not overly impressed. Its very clumpy and I think it has a bit of a funny smell to it - is that how its supposed to be?! Just want to be sure in case there is something wrong with it.

Am off to the hairdressers for some pampering!

That is disapointing to hear about the lash injection. I have an unopened full sized one in my stash still to use :(

    Kaz - can't advise as I haven't used either.

Still feel rotten today dispite sleeping for over 12 hours . My best friend is coming over this afternoon to stay over. We were supposed to be hitting the town tonight then off the the pics tomorrow. Looks like that isn't going to be happening now. Gutted as my best friend normally works every Friday & Saturday night and this was a rare night off

Can't remember if I have already mentioned that my Boots Balancing night cream is spluttering. Think it will do tonight and at a push tomorrow night. This was my first product area I got under control with only one in use and one in the stash. So I will dig out the one in the stash and look for a replacement offer.

    Have a good day xx

Just seen this in the news box
    >>

    SUPERDRUG LAUNCHES LOYALTY CARD

1 point per £ spent and can only be spent in increments of 100 - but you can part pay in points and pay the rest in cash.

That's a feature that I've always wished Boots Advantage Cards would have.
Now for the naughty bit a couple of ins to declare, I got the BS bodybutter with Marie claire and the Nails inc Teal nail polish (fab colour btw) and I also got some VO5 Oooomph hair powder as I wanted to try it. I have also made a tidgy little order on the BS glitch (still waiting to see if this one comes off though!).

Budge up on the naughty step I am on my way..............

Come and join me in the tent I've erected there since the weather is so bad. lol I too have bought the teal Nails Inc letter. I really need to go and look for an official support group for my addiction! Mind you, yesterday I wandered through TK Maxx, saw some Nails Inc and Leighton Denny products and did not buy. I think I con myself that this teal one was a freebie when it still cost me money to buy the mag.

Thanks for that Valm. The LE TSV does not tempt me -so credit card is safe! As for ebay -am beyond excited as it is free listing this weekend. :jMight list the OPI You don't know Jacques! Lacquer but just to break even on it don't think I will make a profit on it as there is already a lot listed. Have two other lots of toiletries to sell as well and think it will take up most of my Sunday to list clothes and magazines etc. !

My TSV arrived this morning. I stayed in especially to wait for it (how sad am I?). I actually love all the colours even YDKJ. Am wearing Houston We Have a Purple at the mo.

I also picked up two copies of Marie Clare with the Dreams Unlimited body butter on them.

Saw a bit of the LE show earlier but it does nothing for me anymore. First she changed the formula of C&P, then she sold out to Avon and now the shows are exactly same as any other beauty show ie model lying on couch being "pampered" by product guest. Am hoping I can find alternative toner and then will probably be in a position where I don't buy anything from this brand anymore (other than MrM's body wash which does smell delicious on him).

and a UU, BS Pink Grapefruit SG, I've now opened Dove Revive (?), a pomegranate and something one as its the only fruity one I had that would accompany the remains of the Grapefruit BB.
