I haven't ventured out to [STRIKE]buy[/STRIKE] have a look at the Instyle Nails Inc mag. Are the colours nice?
Mum informed me that the beige is grim, the teal very nice and the orange a true easyJet shade. Rather fitting for me as a regular passenger :D

As i subscribe i assume ill still get the freebie, i got the last one anyway.

Interesting. I subscribed to Marie Claire in December as I realised it was cheaper than even buying just 7 copies at the airport full price. I didn't get the cowshed freebie and haven't seemingly had the BS body butter either. I e-mailed them and got the answer that the provider of the free gift has to pay for the extra postage & if they don't want to cover it, then tough. I think it's a bit mean that as a subscriber you miss out.

Also managed to inadvertently UU a sample size Lush Angel's Delight soap this morning - was washing my hands and the soap slipped and went flying right into the toilet

That is brilliant :rotfl:What a novel way to say goodbye to some soap!!

Fiasco55 - hope you don't come down with anything nasty, there seem to be a lot of horrible viruses around at the mo.

Flirtini - did BS win or the cola?!

Kaz - liked your post and wise words.

Well after spending the day with my parents and my mother seeing how much free stuff I get (thanks to MSE) Ive emailed her a HUGE list of things she should sign up to/do etc to earn some money and get lots of freebies and coupons - seeing as shes currently out of work and cash is somewhat tight at home. She really seemed somewhat impressed when I listed in detail how Id managed to get all the stuff I had - from free tshirts to chocolate, to free dvd's :p Think she could well be a new MSE member very soon. I think she may finally be begining to see the light :j

I am seriously going to ebay anything I don't like out of this TSV and the Black Shatter will go on there when it arrives as we do have one.
Thankfully I don't get on with a lot of LE products (especially the treatments as they all have camphor in them). I am getting low on the Instant Boost Skin Tonic however am still looking for alternative as I think it's expensive for toner. She always puts a small size of this in her TSVs though which is a shame - would be great if once in a while they really concentrated on the essentials. Have you seen what's in the TSV already? It's posted up on shoppingetlly.com

Thanks for that Valm. The LE TSV does not tempt me -so credit card is safe! As for ebay -am beyond excited as it is free listing this weekend. :jMight list the OPI You don't know Jacques! Lacquer but just to break even on it don't think I will make a profit on it as there is already a lot listed. Have two other lots of toiletries to sell as well and think it will take up most of my Sunday to list clothes and magazines etc.

Quite pleased as I have a "Gift List" with all upcoming friends and families birthdays and Xmas gifts listed for each individual person and with the recent Body Shop glitch, have every female covered for the rest of the year and Xmas too... and just for £35. :T
The ones I bought in the January Sale have already been given out and have been very well received so am quite pleased. Just hope Body Shop deliver as that grabbit post has had over 25000 views! I have purposely bought ranges I don't personally like too much so won't be tempted to keep. Really wanted to try the Sweet Lemon but resisted and bought the Strawberry and White Musk instead etc. (now no one tell me the White musk is wonderful :rotfl:)This should keep me on the straight and narrow:D .....

Welcome all newbies by the way!

I have a freebie in - the Marie Claire BS BB.
I got Shea. Couldn't find MC on the shelf to start with, then found just one copy shoved in the rack upside down and back to front, wonder if someone overcame temptation and put it back - or saw their bus arrive and left the queue, as the newsagent has bus stops outside.
Loved the flying soap story, I think that's happened to me too, many years ago.

I am extraordinarily fortunate in that my income has increased literally three -fold in the last 18 months, with a new job. Trust me to be the one out of step with the zeitgeist and marching to a different drum.

But I can't shake off my near-breadline spending habits.

I only get the offers in Boots or things I really can't get elsewhere. Ditto Superdrug. I love Heron, Wilkinson's, Savers, Home Bargains, B & M Bargains, Primark, X Catalogue Shops.... and I don't actually HAVE to shop there anymore.

I was quietly proud of myself today.
I wanted to go buy in Primark or X Catalogue en route to home from work .. and I don't need any clothes. I have lovely stuff that just needs ironing after being put away for the winter. Okay it's stuff from last year or before - sometimes WAY before! - but since when was I a fashion plate?
So I got the earlier bus and got down to work from home.

    Evening all

Day 6 and still no INS for me :j

I am determined that May will be a total no spend month, and its just as well I have my willpower with all these glitches and magazine freebies!!

I did pick up the mag with the teal Nails inc polish (lovely colour!) but I put it back because I've always found the free Nails inc polishes from Glamour go on quite streaky. I DONT NEED IT!!!!

The BS glitch sounds like such hard work! I am way too lazy to figure it out on the website but I was very jealous reading all the orders that you ladies have placed. Plus I have a ridiculous number of shower gels and body butters so I DO NOT NEED ANYTHING!!

About 5 pages back (sorry I forgot who), somebody was asking for products for chapped lips. An old school tip was to brush your lips (gently) with a dry toothbrush to remove dry skin. Don't know how effective it is, but at least its free to try! I also really like the BS lip butters at night but they do leave a weird white film on your lips so wouldn't go out the house wearing them.

    Have a good weekend everyone!
