We had a UU last night which I forgot to add, it was the radox shower smoothie coconut thingy. WIBA?: No. It was all bitty. It didn't smell too bad but I didn't like it anyway
. Have now got out TBS cocoa butter shower gel. I used it tonight, it smells quite nice.

I think it's pixiebeam??
One UU after my bath - didn't wash my hair so I finished off my Boots Expert Sensitive Leave-In Thickening Conditioner: WIBA? Dunno - My hair seems a little thicker but not sure it's worth all the effort. I'm using a volumising shampoo too at the moment and if it starts to go all flat and stringy when all thats gone I'll know it was working but until then ......??0 -
Shocking bargainous buying behaviour ladies *waggles finger*
Sometimes I think with us sharing all of these glitches, freebies and codes that this thread has created a toiletries cartel:rotfl:Right, I think I have just come to an executive decision under the Pink Rose Candle Philosophy - tonight I shall be throwing out the dregs of the Clinique toners I have been trying to use up. I have a tiny bit of the #3 left, about 30ml of the #2, and then a 15ml of one somewhere too. I've been trying to use them up since I joined in March, and it's been painful (almost literally - I don't have sensitive skin but these do sting somewhat!)
I have a Lancome toner in the stash which I shall pull out and try using instead.
On this topic - how many of you use toners? Do you find them necessary? I have combination oily/dry but more oily skin, and wear a lot of makeup every day so I guess it is probably beneficial for me to use after cleanser? And if you do use them, any recommendations?
x
I have oily combination skin and like the rather pricey elemis balancing toner.
My clinique foundation is almost a UU. This morning I was using a cotton bud to get at the residue in the glass bottle. This was the lightest colour foundation I have and now with the nicer weather I should also be getting a little colour in my face so I would be changing my foundation anyway.
I haven't ventured out to [STRIKE]buy[/STRIKE] have a look at the Instyle Nails Inc mag. Are the colours nice?No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
Haven't read the new thread yet as this is the first time I've had a proper chance to come on.
A few UUs to mention, if I can remember them, most of which were UUd in April, a body lotion, room spray, perfume, cotton pads, and I can't remember if there was another one.
Have got my Avon order to collect when I get back to work next week so my ins for April are more than my outs. Must do something about that
Don't have any plans to buy anything in May accept I am thinking about buying some bubble bath for my husband for his birthday so won't count that, although if we agree that he will be moving back in soon then he can just help me use up mine
Oh, and please add me to the list, forgot to mention that.Did owe £9,951.96

I wouldn't have known about the In style freebie offer if not for this thread!!!
I almost bought it today. Was standing in the queue to pay when DH mentioned that the orange colour looks very similar to the one I was wearing last week. had to put the magazine back as I knew he was right. Feeling very proud of myself.:A

Just remembered my other UUs, a toothaste and a handcream. From thinking that I wouldn't have many UUs they all seem to have come to an end at once :rotfl:Did owe £9,951.96

I have a NPI to report!
Had a wander over to the Body Shop site after seeing talk of a glitch - again, I wouldn't know these things if it wasn't for this forum so it's as much a curse as a godsend! :rotfl:After logging in through quidco, I added the 3 free gifts, then spent quite a while faffing and looking for other things I wanted...
Added the coconut shower gel, shea lotion and shea butter as the freebies. Went through various things such as toner (which I need a new one, but not enamoured with any of the BS ones), more shea butters/lotions... thankfully in my case the freebies don't seem to be tracking properly as other peoples have in all contributing towards the £35 threshold - so I need to spend more to get them than the glitch first appears...
Then I realised I don't need any of this stuff, even the freebies. I definitely don't want to spend £30 just to get them. Hell, I'm not sure I even want them at all... I currently have, amongst my other stash, (all unpoened) 2 BS shea lotions, a BS shea butter, various other BS and boots butters and lotions... And I know in my 'gift' drawer (of which my favourites will make their way back to my bathroom!:p) I have another Shea gift set box... To be honest, what's the chance I'll be sick to the death of their Shea stuff by the time I'd get to open any new purchases??!!
I definitely don't need or want any more of their stuff (repeating as mantra) and I have enough of my favourites (the shea range, if you hadn't realised!:D) to last me a long time, and I'm sure in that time a better deal than this will come along since they seem to be having a good deal every other week at the moment.
Have closed down the window and determined not to go back. Instead, once I've finished the one none clinique toner in my stash, I may take some of your recommendations, and put the money I would have spent here towards a fancy Elemis toner or something instead.... Of course not this month though :rotfl:
I think my willpower is improving!:T0 -
helo everyone i'm in again for may. have used up a considerable amount of my stash, only have items such as shampoo deodrant etc that the ones in use. Have used up all the hotel minatures, sachets from magazines etc. still have a lot of makeup though, find it so hard to use up eyeshadows seem to go on forever. had a little clearout some very old (ten years+!!!) lip glosses with an spf had to go.... now got a nice daily make up bag full of nice light summery colours. also changed my mascaras as they were getting cloggy all over a year old and i had some nice gwp ones in the stash.Obviously I understand you may have changed them because they were over a year old but I read in a spa magazine at my dad's that if your mascara goes a bit clumpy if you put it in boiling water it's supposed to make it useable again. Not sure if any of you already know this or whether it works as I don't wear makeup but thought it was a good idea if it saves you all throwing out your mascaras unnecessarily.Did owe £9,951.96

Well done on resisting the BS offer Flirtini:T
I resisted for a whole 24hrs, but then I crumbled...have just placed an order. So I lasted a whole five days without buying toiletries. I'll join the naughty step party now.:rotfl:
To anyone who has not already succumbed..stay strong!0
