Welcome Newbies :hello:
to those who need them
Also, does anyone have any ideas as to what to use on REALLY chapped lips?
I'm using BS Hemp Lip Protector at the moment and it's working for me - I get really dry lips and a good coating of that really moisturises them. The BS lip butters are good for overnight conditioning - like sudocream you wouldn't want to wear it in public but it 'tastes' better :rotfl:On this topic - how many of you use toners? Do you find them necessary?..... And if you do use them, any recommendations?
I do use a Toner - currently using a Simple one but will be going back to the Boots Vitamin E when it's gone. I tend to think of the cleanser as a 'soap' and the toner as 'water' to clear all the residue - giving me a properly clean face to apply my moisturiser - I never feel quite clean enough if I don't remove all traces of cleanser
Talking of cleansers - I have freebie IN - Origins Checks and Balances Foaming Cleanser/Face Wash - it smells nice. The dog bit through the tube when it was rammed through the letterbox  so I lost about 25mls when I cut the end of the tube off and have put the rest in an empty BB tub
Two UU's:
Sanctuary Spa Body Butter: WIBA? No - was more like a Mayo than a butter :rotfl: didn't like the smell. Has made it easier to commit to giving away the 2 other gift sets I have :rotfl:
BS Spiced Vanilla Body Scrub: WIBA? For the smell alone definately - but I think I prefer the gel scrubs (or Body Jam as I'm now calling them :rotfl:) as the cream ones just seem to hang about in the water whereas the gel actually dissolves.
I'm having a bad week - soooo tired and swollen - and the builders are still next doorOH is stressed because he's been left in charge at work on the day they have a DWP minister visiting  and we've got a big family 'do' on saturday which I really can't be bothered with. Still - I've got my hospital appt to look forward to next week :rotfl:
Is everybody voting today? OH has 'tidied' our voting cards away somewhere - I'm assuming you don't actually need them but will have a search anyway0 -
Nooooo.... anther Body Shop order! SAVE MEEE. I can't justify this one.
How are they about returns?0 -
oops - forgot I had an IN and an OUT -
IN: from travel kit - FCUK Body Butter
OUT: to travel kit - S&G Girligo
Have decided the Girligo would be better for travelling so have swapped them.
Does anyone use Muslin Cloths instead of cotton wool for Cleansing/Toning? How do you store them? do you wash them after every use or just rinse them? I'm down to my last pack of cotton pads and want to use the cloths instead but am a little unsure of how to:rotfl:

:rotfl:
I've been using the Liz Earle C&P / S&G fab pore cleansers with the muslin cloths - I tend to rinse well and hang them to dry after use, and change a fresh one every few uses (I only use it at night so once a day) I'm sure some people use a fresh one for every use, but as long as it's rinsed well mine seem fine for at least 2 or 3 'cleans', then go in the washing machine.

Somewhat off topic but my celing is leaking
Water coming through from the flat upstairs, from thier bathroom into my lounge....No-one in up there so have left a note on thier front door but until then there isnt really anything I can do.
The estate agents said they would try and get hold of the LL but not holding my breath on the matter as he works in Bristol and Im in S.Wales so will probably be a while till he gets here, if he does at all knowing my Estate Agents, there again they could call his dad who is also the LL who could turn up at any time....
Really needed to get to town this afternoon (was supposed to be doing a mystery shop) but I think thats pretty much gone out the window now.....Also now sitting the dark in the lounge as Im too scared to have the light on - water coming along a large crack in the plaster which goes far enough along my celing to worry me....
heck at least I now finally have a use for that large roasting dish I boughtMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

On this topic - how many of you use toners? Do you find them necessary? I have combination oily/dry but more oily skin, and wear a lot of makeup every day so I guess it is probably beneficial for me to use after cleanser? And if you do use them, any recommendations?

I don't use a toner every time, maybe a few times per week. I use either Liz Earle Skin Tonic or Essential Care Rose Toner - both are very good.
Two UU to report:
Ikea body lotion. WIBA? Yes, it was really cheap, lasted for ages, decent fragrance and good quality moisturiser.
Essential care shampoo. WIBA? Yes, great for my hair, will repurchase once my huge 1 litre Aveda is used up!Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
! You can use Sudocream on your lips?!?!
Hmm, I'll have to try Sudocream by night and Blistex by day =] thanks guys!!
xxx
You can use Sudocream for anything, I use it for ingrown hairs on bikini line and I put it on blisters on my feet or you can use it on sunburn (which we shouldn't really have in the first place) or cold sores. It doesn't soak in so you can't use it out in public but it is rather soothing. It's cheap and handy to have. But just the one pot, definitely no need for a stash!Absinthe_Fairy wrote: »One IN to report - free Body Shop Dreams Unlimited Body Butter with Marie Claire.SPECTACULAR FALL- 50ml Dreams

I've sinned, but apparently I'm not the only one
INs:
BS Dreams Unltd BB with Marie Claire
Nails Inc (Blue) Polish with InStyle
On the topic of toner, I never used to but recently I've found with the Bliss cleanser I'm using it doesn't seem to get all the dirt/makeup/pollution off my face, and sweeping over with toner does. Used an Elemis Apricot one which I liked, at the moment using a mini Sanctuary one which is quite nice too.
I resisted the OPI TSV yesterday as I only really wanted the shatter, but thought delivery was too much.
But as predicted there's a code in InStyle for Nails Inc. online. So I'll let you know my ins once I've figured out my order
Also, not usually a BS fan, but this glitch is really making me want to order. The fact that I'm at work and busy is the only thing preventing me :eek:

I heard from a friend you can go to vote if you have photo ID and separate proof of address, you don't need to have your voting card. They will still mark you off the list.0
