Alanis, make sure you don't get alcohol gel on your lips or it will make them much much worse too. Thinks what it does to your hands
yeah - make sure you put your lips right round the neck of the bottle when you swig.....
Im still here - wouldnt be if it wasnt for my bloody soap stash though - its the only thing (I think) that I have more than 3 of!!!! :A
Though I do now need to get a bum cheek on the naughty step - I availed myself of the TIGI offer that was linked to - and bought two salon size sets of curl shampoo and conditioners BUT the two shampoo/conditioners I have are both over half way down the tubes, so it wont be long till I need more. Oh - and I used paypal money from ebay sales - so technically no cash changed hands...:j
Oh Rosemary - HUGE hug for you - and you too Sawan. as for mine - we are "definately not" seeing each other again - "definately didnt" see each other on Monday nightand "definately not" going to be seeing each other for a while I think - basically I have a feeling we are back on in all but name - and Ive decided that if I dont get an answer in the direction I want it when he comes back from his break in July, then it might well be time to call it quits. which would be sad, but has to be done sometimes. Much as I dont expect him to declare undying love for me immediately, I dont think its unfair to ask him to admit that we are a couple !!!! :rotfl:
take care everyone - welcome newbies - another month, another challenge.... :beer:Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Fell victim to the major Body Shop glitch... BUT I did get my sisters birthday presents (for September) and some solid perfume. Now the problem is that solid perfumes generally give me a rash, but maybe it'll be different with The Body Shop? I hope so!
So, a Moringa body butter, Moringa body lotion and a satsuma shower gel full size, for FREEEEEEEEE. To the naughty step- I have the quiche, who has the pimms?0 -

How weird, I love Moringa and generally I love lemon, but I think this smells a bit like kitchen cleaner!0 -
Morning all, freezing today, what has happened to the weather, have got 3 layers of clothes on just to keep warm because i am insisting that the central heating shouldn't be on in May.
Thanks to SJP for the info on the campsite, might try them out later in the year. The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
Have a hug from me too Rosemary - such an awful situation.

Received a mail shot (snail mail) from L'Occitane with a 20% off code for online or to take the card in-store for discount. Will try to resist!!!!
They have stopped sending me 20% off codes now:( -but I suppose it keeps my credit card safe:)The AD won me over. Looking forward to the one with the Autumn/Winter colours in it. The silver shatter will go to Emma and I'm actually looking forward to trying the mushroom one although whether it will suit my skin tone I'm not sure. MrM thinks we won't be looking at OPI in the USA now though :rotfl:
I've updated my signature and am hoping that keeping an eye on the spending this way will make this one of the only purchases in May. I do need some more Decleor Herbal Clay Mask but as Emma has a tube of the Superdrug one I'm going to pinch this for a while and see how I go. My skin is a mess at the mo though due to all the extra choccy and alcohol I've been having (blumming Bank Holidays to blame!!)
Have a good day everyone.
Feeling a bit guilty I bought the OPI TSV now - but couldn't resist! Would have gone for the Auto delivery if the black shatter in the August delivery was the red shatter instead! Will not be buying anymore TSV's now - not even the Liz Earle on Saturday.:Arosemary54 wrote: »DH gone for a swim, asked if I was invited and he said "you can come if you get a move on" said no thanks and sat in garden enjoying last of the sun with a glass of fizz whilst(stupidly!) reading a mill and boon type book!
made his dinner....shepherds pie from freezer and rhubarb(his fav) from garden but will not be eating with him as after 2 nights of the silent treatment I am losing my appitite when eating with him!!
fell asleep in garden as tired from last night so now red faced(or could be the fizz!)
no wonder there are so many wars with men in charge
tv rubbish tonight so will go up to DS3s room to read again rather than a silent night with him!
Two nights of silent treatment is a long time rosemary. How long does it usually last? Men don't realise how emotionally draining it is to deal with. Thinking of you....0 -
SPECTACULAR FALL- 50ml Dreams Unlimited with Marie Clare.

Right, I think I have just come to an executive decision under the Pink Rose Candle Philosophy - tonight I shall be throwing out the dregs of the Clinique toners I have been trying to use up. I have a tiny bit of the #3 left, about 30ml of the #2, and then a 15ml of one somewhere too. I've been trying to use them up since I joined in March, and it's been painful (almost literally - I don't have sensitive skin but these do sting somewhat!)
I have a Lancome toner in the stash which I shall pull out and try using instead.
On this topic - how many of you use toners? Do you find them necessary? I have combination oily/dry but more oily skin, and wear a lot of makeup every day so I guess it is probably beneficial for me to use after cleanser? And if you do use them, any recommendations?

Well just got this months glamour through - two little free samples in it, one Clinique tinted moisture surge and the other Veet hair minimising body moisture...hardly think the sachet is big enough to do one leg let alone my whole body but nevermind.....MFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Aarrgh! You must have a good relationship  please share secrets!!footymadgal wrote: »Oops, just spotted this on Grabbit:
"The Boots magazine free to Ad card holders has a 25% off Champneys coupon in it. valid from 04/05."
I was hoping there would be such an offer, just hope you can use it in conjunction with the gwp offer.
Ahem - has anyone tried this yet??I have no INs yet but have 2 x Groupon vouchers to use up asap before they expire which is pretty soon I think. Keep putting it off because I haven't found any good offfers, unlike online when they have good sales, but have at least resisted their 30% off and B1G1HP sale.
Oooh good reminder, Groupon runs out I think May 25th - I gave my last one to my sister but know she hasn't used it yet - ungrateful wench!
Finally a UU!! No. 7 Essential Moisture Day Fluid WIBA - yes, like it lots but of course have another 2 in the stash already from the No 7 vouchers!
I'm so jealous of all the long UU lists - don't know how you do it. My stash is hardly dented from my enormous January sales shopping spree....
Found out my gas and electric DD is going up massively - I blame all those pamper nights!! May have to revert to soap and a flannel to get the hot water bill down!!
Right off to puruse the lovely magazine freebies....bags, books and now BS freebie....I love the summer!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0
