what a surprise-not it was only a matter of time before they dropped the dtd-and they blame shoppers?

            I love this quotation,,,,
But Price Check and Double the Difference have also given rise to a cottage industry of savvy and determined people. They identify products which are on short-term promotion in Asda then buy them at Tesco, claim the coupons through Price Check, buy more of the same products with the coupons and go on recycling coupons in this way just to make money.
MSE-ers are officially a cottage industry - hurrah!!!We are QPR, say we are QPR!0

is there an official like to this? the tesco !!!!! check website doesn't mention this at all.I was put on this earth to accomplish a certain amount of things, at this rate I may never die!0

once again, a selfish/greedy few have ruined things for everyone0
-
Serves the greedy people right..! Shame it spoils it for the rest of the shoppers who want an occasional bargain 0 0

Well i think it serves tesco right as the asda guy said if they claim to be cheaper they should be then people wouldnt have the opportunity to work the system to their advantage and once a product had been found to be double the difference then why didnt they lower the price to match asda A. it would have encouraged more shoppers with cheaper prices and B. they wouldnt have to pay out dtd for weeks on end.
They can't blame shoppers for their own short sighted ignorrance to the fact that people would work the system to their advantage.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

if theres such a big difference between some products at tesco.. like there was a kids toothbrush that WAS NOT on offer at asda thats been 2 quid for weeks... at tesco it was 10 quid... can you believe the profit they make on that??? before all this. No wonder their profits were sky hight they are massively overpriced on some things. They just got opened a can of wupp !!! by savvy clever people who turned their scheme into a PR nightmare for them.
It only lastsed 2 months and they had to cancel it ergo. .. they are not cheaper.. asda is a better place to shop.0
