Crikey. Don't you feel she's taking advantage of your friendship? I suppose it's good she feels she can turn to you in her hour of need :D.

ETA: I have no friends with cake :(

Glad I'm making you all happy with virtual cake. Need to bake a real one later this afternoon for friend who's birthday is tomorrow. I asked her husband what she would most like as a present, and he said "a homemade cake that she hasn't had to bake for herself", so that's easy and MSE. It'll be something to do with DD too, so good mum-daughter bonding time. :)

Thanks for posting, Peonie, gally, Radish, Alchemilla and pix.

Just wanted to make sure that credit for the "5 things I'm grateful for today" idea goes to Alchemilla, because I shamelessly copied it from her. Check out her diary here.

Lovely to have you joining in with the "grateful for 5 things" challenge, Iced Bun.

Must go and get DS's food tech ingredients for tomorrow before the shops shut. (Ought to be more organised about this. :o)
