PS natty - yes you absolutely should be here, because
    a) We like you and we want you.
    b) You're funny and you make us laugh.
    c) Everyone is welcome if they want to get their mortgage down.
    d) Even if progress is slow when you're on here, it would be slower if you weren't.
Thirded from me - anyway, you saved my life so you need to look after me for ever now (except when I move to Spain :rotfl:)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Thank you natty, GG and Koda. Koda - you are very encouraging. :D

I've done the sums, and I think the 123 is worth going for. I have millions of DDs, so still plenty to leave in the Halifx if I only switch the ones that qualify for cashback.

I've just upgraded my santander account to 123 too - looking forwards to them giving me some money for a change :rotfl:

Next door's family have just delivered a bag of clothes their girl has grown out of, for DD to grow into. This is very good for the moneysaving, but means I need to do more on the decluttering. I am seeing the friend I usually pass DD's clothes on to next Thursday, so will try to get a bag ready for her for then.

Hello to Alchemilla, Calfuray, Froggy, Koda, pink poppy, Radish, Tilly, GG and QBW. Thanks for posting/thanking.

    NSD today. :)

Bank statement arrived, so I've checked it off against my spreadsheet and everything balances. :)

Nothing else of significance to report.

Thank you. However, err... well, it would be more organised if I could find my hole punch and put the statement in the file. :o

Sometimes I think my money is the only thing about me that is organised at all. My house certainly isn't. :o Let's see if posting on here will help put a rocket under me....

    Targets for today (Saturday)
    1) At least 2 loads of washing (including the half term PE kit)
    2) Tidy my bedroom :o
    3) Make DD vacuum up the craft debris from yesterday evening :o
    4) Do some decluttering (as opposed to just tidying the clutter) :o
    5) Make both children help with some decluttering
    6) Finish marking my Y12 homework
    7) Find the hole punch and file the bank statement!

That's a very organised approach to today Lois, think I may need to do something similar. Loads to do and not getting anything done as I just don't know where to start.

I'm another one where the only thing that's organised is the money

And the "to-dos" aren't going to get tackled anytime soon as Mr PP has just decided we're going for a bike ride as it's quite nice out :j

    Hmm.... housework or bike ride...?

Hi Lois_E hope its ok to join in.

I know what you mean about the house I have great intentions every weekend.
I use an app that has a shopping list and to do list on it which is fantastic and keeps me focused on doing small things that make a difference.
Its very satisfying ticking something off on the list even if it just fill the dishwasher :o

Hope you managed to achieve your 'list' Lois :) I have had another lazy day, although am stripping (still!), washing, and TD-ing this evening.
It's party, party, party all the way in the nattypant household:D
