I love a good declutter... a little too much! My house only has functional or sentimental things in now (with the exception of OH workshop which I'd like to get stuck in to but I'm not allowed!!!). At a loss for stuff to declutter, I have to re-arrange my kitchen cupboards or refold my clothes drawers just to get the same feeling!!!
I am now officially in awe of you. My clutter is the bane of my life and a bigger challenge to me than my mortgage. I may be paying off my mortgage slowly, but at least when I pay a bit off, it stays paid off. OTOH, more clutter keeps finding its way into my house, not least because I have a DS who's just normal nearly teenage boy untidy, and a DD who's a downright hoarder.
Anyway, I stayed up until stupid-o-clock doing it, but I now have a clear and beautiful desk. :j

I have to confess I'm a secret hoarder. It all goes in the loft so you can't see it. Out of sight out of mind. I tried bringing a box down to shame myself into tackling it but just walked round it for a few weeks and then got DH to put it back in the loft. Oh dear. However, in my current state of mind, taking on the world!, I think the loft may well get an airing. Not just yet though. I think that will be an October job. I am currently hoarding all my sisters belongings in my dining room while she is off exploring. She's due home in September and then I can get started on my stuff. Also it will give me something to do through the winter months. Time for another cup of tea. I bet I could save a fortune on electricity if I didn't drink tea.0

Ocado order done. I won't do another for a while. After a few months they'll start sending me 20% off vouchers again, and then I'll get the next one. I've got a voucher from Sainsbury's for £15 a first online shop if it's over £75, so I'll probably use that one next time I do a big shop, but that won't be for a couple of weeks.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Oh if only it were just the loft and garage!
If I post on here that I am going to do two boxes before bedtime tonight, that'll make me do it, right?
Of out today to try to get a lampshade for the hallway - the previous one got broken by the kids somehow. Let's see if I can find something aesthetically pleasing but inexpensive....

Will I make you all physically sick with envy if I tell you that there's a few dead leaves in my garage, a bottle of screenwash and my car?!?!?!
Lois - I noticed that too. If I don't shop at Sainsbury's for a while they start sending me better and better money off coupons but once I use them, their generosity stops and I go back to somewhere else that will give me money off!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -

Nah - your garage is so far out of my league that I won't bother feeling envious.
Well, I got 2 lampshades for £4, so that's the hallway sorted, and also I can replace the horrible lampshade in the spare bedroom. It was the only one the sellers left behind when I bought the place, and I can see why they didn't want to take it with them!
I didn't do the 2 boxes of decluttering yesterday, though.Better do 4 today, then, hadn't I?

Your hallway lampshade puts my hallway light (bare bulb and ceiling rose not even attached to ceiling) to shame. I AM envious!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
