That's great news. I noticed your freedom date changed when reading mpg's diary and wondered when you'd knocked those months off. Now I know. The £10 off FL2 made me smile.

Thanks Tilly, Radish, pink poppy, Peonie & Jellie - always so encouraging to have people comment on my diary. :)

Peonie, you are so observant to see my MFD change in my sig.

School holidays proving frantically busy, but just dropping in to update my sig. I've put £600 into savings and paid off £50, which is £40 off FL1 and £10 off FL2. :D

Will try to catch up reading other people's threads later this evening.

What a bonus the tax credits were! Always nice to have something unexpected from them.

    Thanks Cath

Email arrived offering me 20% off an @cado order - might take them up on that, then. Must make myself get round to it today, but have some tidying up to do first. :o

    Hi Lois,
Popping in to say hi and have a read of your diary. Aren't those tax credits welcome!!
Looks like you're doing really well in getting on top of that mortgage. I'm in my forever house too - juts needs an extension but I'm sitting tight and trying to ditch my wee mortgage just now - unemployment looms so not getting any more debt till I can see where I'm going.
    Good luck!

Hi downsizer and thanks - I always feel encouraged when people read my diary and comment on it (or thank it). :)

My house has been extended, but eventually when I can afford it I want to make some alterations to the extension that's already there. That won't be for a long time, though.

NSD today - go me! :)
