Glad to get to the end of the week. :)

STILL haven't made a start on that coursework, although I've got all the rest of my marking done, including two classes of tests. Decided not to bring it home this weekend. DS will be out all day tomorrow, so DD and I need to use the time to start decluttering her bedroom of <need alliterative word signifying colossal amounts of clutter but can't think of one>.

I love the whole money shuffle, then updating my signature, my spreadsheet, then my book. Every part of it is a huge boost each month. Dave actually asked me today what new figure was, so clearly he's getting the 1st of the month is important.

Finally found the letter that I'd lost that N@tionwide sent me a little while ago, telling me when my 5% rate runs out and I revert to 1%. It's this Thursday. So now I'm considering what to do with that £2.5k. I was wondering about getting one of those Yorkshr Bank 4% ones, but I've got a bill of £500ish to pay, and I'm thinking of sending £1k to FL1 to speed it up, and my Spanish account keeps dropping below the £3k and not getting its 3%. So I think my best bet probably is to put what remains of the N@tionwide money into the Spanish account to make sure it stays over the £3k.

  • Is there a reason people have a few accounts? Is there a limit of savings or something like that? (not that I have any extra money to put into different accounts!
