Thanks ATT and teapot.
Feeling OK this evening. Possibly because the dining room of doom is now beautifully tidyAlthough sadly the lack of clutter now means that there is nothing to distract from the appalling state of the carpet.

Must go to work in a minute. (I know, I know, it's 9.30 already. I'm part time, I have it easy on Mondays) Just thought I'd catch up with a few things to be thankful for:
1) Sunshine
2) Two more weeks to end of term.
3) Tidy dining room.
4) Friend I haven't caught up with for ages that I'm seeing this evening.
5) Other friend I saw yesterday.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

That's fantastic money news, Lois, and a big WOOHOO for shaving more than a year off your original MFD!
I'm not sure if I've ever had the chance to say a proper hello on here before, but I just wanted to say that your diary makes for lovely reading, thank youabouttimetoo wrote: »Lol, I felt the same yesterday morning Lois, when I could see me as the latest poster in quite a list, looks like I did the morning shift and then you came on for the afternoona penny picker upper. Thank you to skinty, P*M and Alchemilla for posting  and the same three plus pink poppy and HDK for thanking. I do like getting visitors on my thread.
Special thanks to P*M for saying such a nice thing about my diary.
Good news here is that my ISA has got its annual interest, so that's an extra £84.23 towards mortgage neutrality.
Bad news is that I cannot put off the coursework any longer. We've all got to have done one piece for moderating before the meeting tomorrow.I have normal marking tonight too, but am going to do the coursework first because I hate it most.

I hate marking coursework. Just saying.
Only one student to do tonight and I am struggling already. What will I be like when I have to do the rest over Easter? I have done 34 criteria for this student and have 6 left to go. The next two are the hardest. I am procrastinating on here. Not for long though. About to go back to it.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

OK, I am on a roll now. Not only have I finished that dratted piece of coursework (and am more or less managing not to think about all the others) but I have found DS's lost keys - so he will be able to get his PE kit out of his locker for PE tomorrow.
On to the normal marking now. 3 worksheets to do - 1 for Y12 and 2 for Y10.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Hello to pink poppy, Radish, Tilly, gally, MWC, natty, skinty and SuperSecretSquirrel - lovely to have you thanking my thread.
I'll get today's bad news out of the way first: weather horrible, headache back. I think I need more sleep.
Now for today's good news: no marking tonight, DD offering to cook supper, and an easier timetable day to look forward to tomorrow.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49
