Hello
Anybody around? I had a marking mountain in addition to the reports, but I think I'm on the home straight now. Only two more weeks to the end of term now.(Although I do have to mark two pieces of coursework by Tuesday, but let's not think about that today.)
The worst thing is that my house seems to have got a lot more chaotic all by itself while I was marking and report writing. Why does it do that to me?
Am not up to making a plan for today yet. Here's a plan for the next hour or two:
1) [STRIKE]Take painkillers to make headache go away[/STRIKE]
2) [STRIKE]Catch up on MFW diaries[/STRIKE]
3) [STRIKE]Make list for the rest of the day[/STRIKE]

:hello: Hi Lois, I'm around though shouldn't be
Feeling very sluggish today and can't quite seem to get going. I've done a number of tasks this morning and sometimes once you get going it's not so bad and you kind of get the energy to do more - well that's not happening to me today
Sorry to hear about the headache but well done on being on the home straight with the marking and half term will soon come around
I'm planning to [STRIKE]have a play[/STRIKE] research FB's 'new' savings spreadsheet sometime today; it works out your average savings interest rates across different account, sounds right up your street Lois if you're feeling up to it
Regards

7) [STRIKE]Update master financial spreadsheet[/STRIKE]
8) [STRIKE]Update sig[/STRIKE]
OK, so I follow quite a lot of people's diaries and have been AWOL for a few weeks, but all the same am feeling a bit embarrassed at quite how many of threads on the MFW front page have me down as the latest poster. Come on people, post some stuff so it doesn't look as though I'm the only person sad enough to be spending Saturday afternoon on here!Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Hello,
Funny thing about having posts on your diary - it does cheer you up to know people are reading. Even if you can see that about 200 people have viewed, a comment goes a long way further!
Have a good evening and don't even think about the coursework,

Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -

Hi Lois
Definitely drinking some water or herb teas might help, dehydration headaches are horrible and just hang around. Hope it's not a lurgy, schools here are rife at the moment - winter wasn't cold enough to kill off the bugs!
Have a restful day tomorrow!Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Thanks.
Not sure if the headache was dehydration or not having slept well last night and then having been woken up too early this morning. Must try to get to bed soon tonight.
So..... have updated sig.
The big news is that I have taken £1000 out of the emergency fund and put it with some other money to pay £1,275 off FL1. The EF is now feeling a bit deflated, but FL1 is now under £10k. :j:j:j
This means that the total owed is now more than £10k less than when I started.
I have shaved 3 months off my MFD, although only 1 month off my neutral date because of depleting the EF.My MFD is now more than a year earlier than it would have been.
And my equity is now 77 point something % instead of 76 point something.
Now just got to wait 4 days for my next mini-milestone: when my mortgage payment goes out on 26th, my total owed with be under £83k.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Morning Lois, I hope you wake up headache free
. They can be so debilitating.
Congratulations on FL1 payment. I'd be happy about the symmetry too

Lol, I felt the same yesterday morning Lois, when I could see me as the latest poster in quite a list, looks like I did the morning shift and then you came on for the afternoon
Glad you're feeling better today, I just wasn't .right' yesterday morning and then had sore throat and earache by last night. Fell bit better this morning but hope i'm not sickening for something
