Wouldn't worry about the lack of organisation around the post....realised this morning that I haven't checked the post box all week!!! Got a huge pile of letters sitting on the kitchen table now ready for me to plough through later!!!
Should have just buried them while I was digging in the garden earlier!!:rotfl:Mortgage 12.12.12 £55842 12.12.13 £42716 14.12.14 £28837 13.12.15 £25913

I remember getting really stressed as a package I ordered hadn't arrived, thinking all sorts of contingency plans, I had even contacted the sender, checked they sent, then tried to track the parcel, it saying it had been delivered and then finding a package on the work top, it had been there all week apparently, some helpful soul had put it there and the usual work top debris had covered it. Felt a bit embarrassed to say it had been in the kitchen all along...Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

I have one of those helpful people too - they don't always move the post from the front door so it is very confusing when it's on the coffee table... just stick to one place kids it's easier for us old folk:oMortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

You are all so reassuring. Glad it's not just me.
So, this evening I am thankful for
1) DD actually making a little progress sorting out her room (with my help, of course)
2) Final lazy day of half term, with plenty of time to spend doing nothing very much to recharge batteries
3) Friend who's offered to help me out because of something I meant to do yesterday but forgot, and now can't be done until Monday
4) Crocuses about all over the place

DS doesn't like the jeans I got for him in the mammoth shopping expedition to Mr T for the double points. Will have to take them back and change them, just as soon as I can find where I've put the receipt. I'm very organised with them up to the point where I type them into my financial master spreadsheet, but after that it all goes to pot. I am supposed to keep them until I've checked them off against the statement, and then chuck them unless they might be needed in future - for example if they've got clothes or shoes on that I might want to return if they wear out in a few weeks. But that's the bit I'm not being organised about ATM.

This evening I am grateful for
1) DD asking for macaroni cheese - always nice when they specifically ask for something cheap, and it ended up being really nice too.
2) Church this morning - a good sermon, and meeting up with some old friends who happened to be visiting.
3) Having a job I enjoy - always worth reminding myself of this the night before going back to school
4) Lovely email I got from somebody expressing their appreciation of something DS has done
5) Radish & ND for posting, and Alchemilla Ed, Hurdler, ICTD, kbl, MWC, ND, pink poppy, Radish, skinty, Tilly & Squirrel for thanking :wave:Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Hope the first week back is ok. DS said he's looking forward to seeing teacher A, B and C. How lovely that some teachers have such a positive impact that kids are looking forward to seeing them
