The yellow thing is wondrous, isn't it?!

I went jogging this morning and there was a strange dazzling sensation when I ran towards it. Curious :D

Have a lovely Sunday Lois :coffee:

Thanks Ed, it has been a lovely Sunday. :)

I've decided I really ought to get round to applying for a numbered Spanish credit card to go with the current account that I've had for a while now, so I've put the application in this evening. I wanted to check first to see how much spending I need to put on my Halifx CC each month to make sure I still get my £5 reward. It was stupidly hard to find out - nothing on the website anywhere, and the call centre bloke took about 10 minutes to find out for me. However, it's £300, and I easily spend that much a month on things that wouldn't get cashback from the Spanish CC, because I put all possible spending on the card and pay off in full each month as a sort of mini-stooze to make the most of the interest free days. So it looks as though I should be able to get cashback from one AND reward from the other. :)

Also checked out the cashback offers available on Halifx. There's one for Mr M supermarkets until 9 March - must remember to get main weekly shop there this week, then - and one for New L00k - which is timely because DS and DD are both growing out of all their trousers at a rate of knots. Perhaps it would be cheaper if I stopped feeding them!

Wishing a great week ahead to all teachers who've got half term, and also all parents who've got kids on half term too.

Should have asked on here Lois - loads of us have the H card :D
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I have the H card myself, but I couldn't remember what the condition was. Should have realised that there would be people on here who would remember things like that though! It is £300 per month, isn't it? The call centre bloke seemed a bit clueless, so it would be nice to have it confirmed!

Well, did some shopping in Mrrsons to get the 10% Hal cashback, but not sure it was worth it. The only branch anywhere near me is very small, so there wasn't much choice and I ended up getting branded stuff when I would have got own brand if I'd been somewhere else. Haven't time to go and do bits of shopping in one shop and other bits somewhere else. :(
