Hope the first week back is ok. DS said he's looking forward to seeing teacher A, B and C. How lovely that some teachers have such a positive impact that kids are looking forward to seeing them :)

    Best wishes Tilly x

    Thanks Tilly. :)

Just a quick hi Lois ad a good luck back at school today. At least there's more chance of it being light when you leave home and return again for most of this term - I used to hate the dark, dreariness of last term!

Oh and with the CC thing, I didn't notice any fudging at all. When I got my Mr T CC for my Great Points Stooze for Xmas 2014, the PIN and banking info arrived at least 2 weeks before the card did, so it all sounded normal to me. The not realising it had arrived in the post? Yup, that sounded pretty much normal too!

    Have a good day

  • I know from DDs parents evening that there are definitely some teachers that are nice and get the kids interested and there are some that are a bit scary (well he scared me :( ) and kids dont like him and are less likely to learn. I am sure you are the first lot :)

Thanks for the encouraging comments, everyone. The first day was fine, although getting up this morning was hard. :(

ND, I'm reasonably sure there are some students who like me and enjoy my lessons, but I'm also quite certain there are some others who don't like me at all - although no idea whether they think I'm scary, possibly not as scary as I ought to be making them think me!!

I think my DH is probably in the 'scary' category :rotfl:

Only 29 working days until the next holiday. Not that I'm counting or anything ;)

Don't start on that yet - you'll make me panic about not getting enough of the syllabus done with my exam classes.

Phew! Just got the recycling out to the kerbside about 2 min before the lorry arrived. We had loads this time because we missed it last time (2 weeks ago). That's saved a trip to the tip then. :)

Sorry :o I have my reasons for wanting the time to fly though.

Glad you managed to catch the recycling, ours seem to turn up when they feel like it, either ridiculously early or so late you think they're not coming.
